Actually it wasn't so much Alan Wake, rather Tiny and Big what helped you a lot.

i wish the forums "someone has replied to your comment" notification would take me to the reply, and not to the last page of the forum -.- especially if the reply was made a couple of hours ago.

Neverfree: Truth! Typically do, she's just not very into so many old games like I happen to be. But she does like things like The Elders Scrolls series and Dungeon Siege-ish games where you have multiple party members. (trying to get her to try Balder's Gate)

My fiancée scoffs at my gaming habit! Still, she's worth it. :-)

Because I've been staying awake since the beginning of this sale,laying in bed with my laptop on my nightstand, and if this showed up when I dozed off for 20 minutes during the last 3 days I'm going to be pissed.
Uh, sorry, but I think you may have missed it by somewhat of a large window...we're in the final few games now. '-'

shmargin: I picked up Inherit The Earth, if you like Point & Click adventures, you should like that one, never beat it as a kid, looking forward to it now.

Also Terminal Velocity, if you can tolerate the early era 3d graphics, is pretty fun. Similar to Decent but with aboveground and underground combat, with seamless transitions to both if I remember correctly.

Secret Agent and Hocus Pocus were never my favorite Apogee games as a kid, but they are decent platformers, and a steal at under $2.

My 2 cents :)
Great stuff, thanks, will be sure to check those out. Love me some platforming and point & click adventures. They were the first types of games I ever played.

This is the end of the 3rd round, so the second time it showed up should have been some long time ago (days?)

We are in the third (3rd) round now. It has come and gone in all three rounds. It was last on sale yesterday, May 15, 2014.

Ugh, I helped the progress bar along and bought a backup copy of AWAN.
Not sure I ever want to experience it though.
