Flip side - it might cost, but if you're lucky enough to have a significant other who likes the same hobbies, you can shop together, pamper her a bit, still be playing games and make her happy at the same time. Multi-win.

Neverfree: Oh gosh, this is what happens when you let your GF next to the computer that's just as nerdy as you are look at sales. Was going through Sinistar mix to show her and when I clicked on Legend of Grimrock she screams out " OOOO I WANT THAT ONE!" as I'm trying to tell her it's long gone now and there's only a couple games left XD I shall never hear the end of it, please tell me it goes on sale often, or is a humble bundle hahaha. I instantly thought of some fellow GOGers back talking about how terrible it would be to have these kinds of sales with shoes and makeup, that sort of thing :P

awwong: I've exceeded my budget during this sale and messed up my sleeping pattern a few days ago. Before I actually get to playing all these "new" games I've purchased, I have to sleep in for many hours during the upcoming weekend!

Thanks to everyone for all of your informative, interesting, and often humorous posts. I've never been part of such a friendly online community. :)

Well, I can't stay awake any longer. Guess I'll miss the end of this... although at the rate Alan Wake's AmeriKeane Nightmare is selling, maybe not. :P

Truth! Typically do, she's just not very into so many old games like I happen to be. But she does like things like The Elders Scrolls series and Dungeon Siege-ish games where you have multiple party members. (trying to get her to try Balder's Gate)
