Stilton: I'm beginning to hit the wall here... Mind getting foggy, eyes feel like a couple of gonads, tiredness creeping through my body... I'm having difficulty operating the keyboard....mouse feels like a rock...

I'm going to attempt a trip to the lavatory in a moment...tea build up feels like my lower half has been inflated....

I hope I make it back, but if I don't, don't bother sending a search party, it'll probably be too late by then.

What a damn useless waste, all of those games, all of those kind people on the forum....

Life can be...so awfully cruel.

Well, here goes... and to respectfully quote a great British hero who died so needlessly in the bleak Antarctic wastes...I may be gone for some time...
Never stop fighting. It ain't over yet!

trentonlf: It's quite entertaining
Absolutely. High replay value.

ChozoTull: Most people have described it as really addictive and well-designed. I'm not one for punishing games so I'll pass. If you're into actual rogue-likes (not rogue-lites), you'll probably enjoy it.
Thanks. I don't mind hard games, but not punishing. Though I intend to give Demons Souls and Dark Souls a try.
Awww, I missed driftmoon and didn't even realize it!! Oh well, got a whole slew of great games added to my collection. Nice time chatting with everyone, wish you all well and enjoy your new games!

I really, really enjoy it. Upgrade your ship, management its people, destroy other ships, distribute your resources carefully. It's a blast ;-)

trentonlf: I'm still wondering what is up with the freebie bias, bought 29 games and no freebies. Even been clicking on games I have no desire for LOL
It really does seem to be lopsided -- we're about the same: I'm at 30 games bought during the sale and no freebies either. Though part of it is that I don't click on every game just to try to get a freebie; if I'm not willing to pay for the game, I'll save the opportunity for the freebie to someone who actually wants the game. :-)
It seems that unfortunately word has gotten out about the other sale on Tiny and Big: Keanepa's Leftovers unfortunately, hence the excruciating Late night/crack of dawn keaning we are suffering.

I bought it in round 2 and I've been playing it quite a bit since. I thoroughly enjoy it. Worth the few bucks IMO.

Some are more fortunate than others. Took me at about purchase 60 before I got my first. It's just a matter of timing :)
It's 1:38am. I'm lying in bed using a tablet. Can I hold out for FTL or am I doomed to fall asleep while watching repeats of a sitcom I don't even like?

Kamamura: I spent all my starting money on a fancy dueling sword, and guess what - we haven't met a single humanoid opponent that would make a "sword-based attack" against me. I desperately wanted to test the skill, I even started to shout "ten gold coins to anyone brave enough to lunge against me with a blade of his choice" at a marketplace, and nothing.
lol, you were saying about epic?
+1

On the other hand the game is made to have a "one more run !" factor. Also the captain's edition (free mod collection) adds lots of flavour. It's definitely one of the biggest indie gaming hits, so if you don't mind hard games, I'd go for it

So much replay value, so much magic, really wonderful game with an amazing (more please!!!) soundtrack. I just love it.
