IAmSinistar: Whoops, went to buy a key and bought it for myself. But upon examination it IS a Sierra game, and is IS about detection, so I really should have it anyway. Grabbed a gift key as well, but I'm glad for the initial mistake.
Enjoy!. I always thought I'd played the first Police quest when I was a kid, but looking at the screenshots, it must have been 2 ... Anyway I never did finish it back then because one of our floppy's was corrupted : p Right at park shootout, too!

After picking up SQ and now PQ i'm wondering why the hell i also didn't grab KQ?I know why, because even back in the day i preferred SQ&PQ but in a way KQ is the godfather of them all and i should revisit.I regret not picking that set up.If anyone has a spare i'd appreciate it and would gladly buy something from the current sales to compensate.

Beyond that i'm pretty much done for this sale but i promised someone that i would try to grab Guild Gold, so i hope that comes around asap.

No. They changed the order so PID is still in the mix. As a result, we have NO idea what is coming!

ruebezahl: Actually, the best option for (Windows) gaming on a Mac is to set up Bootcamp or get Parallels Desktop. I chose the latter. Yes, it costs money, but I prefer the convenience of having both Windows and OS X applications running at the same time.
Well, it depends on the game IMHO; a lot of my older ones run flawlessly through Wine, though I do prefer booting actual Windows for those which are more recent and resource-demanding.

I'm not really sure about Police Quest. I like pretty much all of the Sierra adventure games, but I've never really given PQ a shot. Is it similar to the QFG and King's Quest series?

Shambhala: No problems here since the first day.
Same. Just a few bears early in Round 1. And my counter has been working in Chrome for the entire sale.
