markuspeltonen: Is Aarklash on sale often, or was this the first time?
I don't know about often, but it was on sale at least once since I had it before this sale.
Police Quest is tempting, but i have no idea if i will like it.

probablylaura: Oh noo ;___;

It's 4am, and I was expecting PID...
I have you covered here in case you pass out :)

TheOvulator: I'm really curious about Police Quest, but I think I'll wind up waiting (as long as impulse doesn't take hold!).

foxworks: If you're a fan of Sierra Online Quest games....shoot, here you go. PMd!
Whaaaaaat. Thank you! Don't let my indecisiveness fool you, I'll put it to good use.
avatar
odbo255: I think it was about this point in round 2 that the pattern broke as well. As I recall all of the games at the end were random.
avatar
RPGOracle: Maybe they're intentionally saving a certain batch of games until the end of the sale?
hopefuly they american nightmare and humans for last,, DEEP KEENING!!
avatar
TheOvulator: Don't want to wind up spending to much. I'll have text books to buy in a couple weeks :/ Though, you do have a Butthole Surfers avatar, which means you must have good taste. So torn.
avatar
foxworks: Police Quest has been sent to your PM. Now it's free and you have no choice to play and experience its awesomeness!
You heard the man, TheOvulator!
avatar
user1point0: Could you use Wineskin to play some of these games on a Mac? Like Police Quest?
avatar
chean: Playable on Mac - yes, but with Dosbox/Boxer not Wineskin.
How about games like Syberia?

LOL
I'm really hoping the horrible laggers will appear after the good stuff now that the order has been shaken up.

On a sidenote, I just realised that there is a 70% weekend promo right now that I need to trawl through...
As if this insomniac insanity wasn't enough spendage :D
high rated

Shambhala: That's definitely something I can appreciate!
You might not appreciate the reason for that though. ;-P
Whoops, went to buy a key and bought it for myself. But upon examination it IS a Sierra game, and is IS about detection, so I really should have it anyway. Grabbed a gift key as well, but I'm glad for the initial mistake.

I think you will like it...even more so if you're into the whole point/click adventure games :D

Grab "The Cat Lady".

That should work with Wine(skin), but can't say 100% as I haven't tried; Wine compatibility varies a lot, and sometimes a lot of manual tweaking is needed.

Edit: actually, you're in luck, a Wineskin wrapper for it has already been made: http://paulthetall.com/syberia-mac/
