This Insomnia sale is even more neurotic than that wacky Time Machine sale earlier this year.

And I'm back again... shopping done! Looks like Seven Kingdoms is still going strong (getting more ancient by the minute). Usually I'm not too Keane on games that take this long, but occasionally, they do have their uses :)

So to get back to business:

Tarnicus: Yup! You go to My Account > My Shelf (or My Games) > Click "Download installer"

You'll see this progress bar come up, very similar to the game we are playing now on the forums except this is a single player version of it. Instead of watching the copies remaining counter decrease and having enjoyable conversation on the forum, the single player version of this game has you watch the downloader progress. Obviously you get FAR more value for money out of The Witcher 2 (15.2GB) than say a classic like Ultima 7 (30MB) but one can throttle downloads to slow them and get a lengthier more in-depth gaming experience.

Personally I prefer the online version with social interaction. But what are you going to do when you don't have access to the internet? Play the single player and download! (unless you get the 'always online DRM version which actually FORCES you to connect to the internet to play!@!)
My apologies. I never intended for my comment to be taken serious (and frankly, I didn't think anyone actually would), but you're right... I DID forget the smilie! So thanks for the kind and thorough reply.
But to be honest... I actually AM more of a collector than a player. I already played many of the games here on my Amiga way back when I was a kid (shh... don't tell anyone my age!). I buy most of them purely for nostalgia. Only the more recent games (like Unepic, Shadowrun Returns, Legend of Grimrock, Inquisitor I bought to actually play).

I know it's still set to come around again, but anyone interested in Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse? Bought it on impulse in the second round (among too many things...) and only realized later that I already have that season directly from Telltale. GOG support was kind enough to convert it to a gift code for me. (Talk about going above and beyond in customer service, considering this was strictly my own fault.)

Because lack of sleep does weird things to people. And the wait for the games we want can be exciting, especially if you get a freebie.
