stg83: C'mon nobody likes Origin, we just tolerate it for the sake of some EA games. ;)

rft183: I like Steam and I like GoG, but I hate Origin! It never seems to work right. I've pretty much written off EA games since they require Origin.
My personal experience has been a few odd glitches here and there, but not anything more than I've gotten from Steam or GoG. The only major problem I've had with the Origin client itself was getting Mass Effect registered since it insisted that my Dead Space 3 key was also its key. But I got in touch with technical support and they were able to sort the problem out, then gave me a coupon which I used to buy Mass Effect 2 and 3 at a quite reasonable price.

I'm know lots of folks have their horror stories about Origin and EA, but thus far I've managed to reap all the benefits of their apologies without having to actually suffer from any of the screwups they were apologizing for, so they've done alright by me!

I haven't posted a lot on the boards, as I'm quite new to GOG itself, but I love the great atmosphere and all the helpful people :)

Origin is more than annoying. Personally it crashes out on me all the bloody time. Or drops net or something. Since I used to auto sign into it, it used to come up around 10 times a day reloading in. Thing is useless.
