Kamamura: So, on to more serious topics.

Who do you think would win - a ninja or a pirate?
Depends. Would the pirate be cursed by Aztec gold, or perhaps be an Assassin?

Pangaea666: YES!!

Just woke up and saw the Critters, the last game left I truly wanted. Loved the first Unwritten Tales game, so wanted to check out this one too. Now I can :)

What else has gone during the night?
I've only played the first and loved it too. I'm generally not a fan of adventure games but it grabbed me! I wonder why it is a such a slow seller here?
Adventure fans no like the current game?

A pirate only if he's not totally drunk, he has a gun and good aim, it's day and the ninja totally forgot its stealth training XD

That puzzles me too. I would think a game like this would fly by quickly. Good for me though, as it means I got a chance to buy it :)

Looks like it is sold out soon anyway now. 10-ish copies left.

Surprised to see the Critters go so fast. Their first round was not so spectacular, to say the least.

zillatain: It wasn't unprecedented. The dreaded Jack Keane 2 took about 4 and a half hours to sell just 100 copies in the 2nd round. But only took maybe 15 minutes to sell 25 copies in the 3rd round. Also if I remember that was the only game they reduced the quantity in the first sale.
People seem to forget that the main reason Jack didn't sell well is because of the high price - IIRC, it was the highest priced game of the Fall Insomnia Promo - but when it popped up as a freebie, I barely managed to see it fly by.
Anyone have spare code for LBA2? Or for trade? I missed it three times :/

phaolo: GOG should have limited the freebies for single people and spread them more..

tcmsurfer: Sorry, didn't want to annoy. However I have pressed on many games already and the 3 I have are rather "semi" good. This third one is the best so far, however since I own it already, I will think about whom I can give it as a freebie and how.

I did buy a couple of games on the other hand, so it's not like I didn't participate in the sale.
Congratulations :)

I don't understand why people complain about fairness with a random number system. Freebies are purely related to a small chance once clicking "Buy now" regardless or purchases, join date or rep. To anyone that get's a freebie(2 for me and 60 purchases or so) congratulations!
Terrain and surroundings would probably matter a lot.

When dueling in sail rigging of a galleon on a stormy sea, I would heavily favor the pirate.

However, confusing shadows of a dimly lit tea house in the Shinjuku province could throw off pirate's aim and give ninja the much needed element of surprise.

Conrad57: Oh, ok. I thought it was a triple. If you say so.

jimnorth: The lists seem to bear this out. From Round 2:

12. The Last Express - 70% off ($1.79) - 400
13. Flatout 2 - 80% off ($1.99) - 400
14. Long Live The Queen - 75% off ($2.49) - 400
15. Tiny and Big: Grandpa's Leftovers - 80% off ($1.99) - 200
16. Interstate '76 Arsenal - 75% off ($1.49) - 300
17. Legend of Grimrock - 80% off ($2.99) - 500

According to the list of games done and yet to come, Tiny and Big hasn't popped up yet, but Interstate '76 and Grimrock have, and as a duo. If Last Express and FlatOut and The Queen were a triple, that would leave Tiny and Big as an odd man out thanks to Deadly Premonition being removed from the list entire, which could theoretically have been the case had we not already had our odd man out in Luftrausers.

The most likely scenario is that Last Express and FlatOut 2 is one pair with Tiny and Big and Long Live the Queen being a second, separate pair.
Wow, I didn't know you took it so seriously. I was just guessing and then told you where I got the idea. I even conceded that, because of you disagreeing if not thanks to it, I should keep a better eye on the screen (finished tidying up, btw). Chill out.

Haha, what? Was just showing you the lists and reasoning, man. :D

phaolo: No problem, we are not angry with you for real, but we'd love some GOG freebies too!
I bought 21 games, clicked on everything, and got 0 free ones!
That is some seriously bad luck then! Per chance, have you missed anything in the sale that you really wanted?
3 left! \o/
