Tarnicus: I'm that unfamiliar with Steam still even though I have over 700 games on there, I wasn't aware that cloud saving was ever a REQUIREMENT. Serious? I assumed it was an option :( I might have to look up which games require it.
avatar
Grargar: It's not a requirement for all games, but only some games, like Strike Suit Zero.
Whether it is intentional or a bug, bad programming, etc. is another thing altogether.
Heh I both know and didnt assume "all" but am surprised that it is coded this way for ANY games. no local save? Piss off game and developer ><

jimnorth: hahahaha, 75 copies, nice
Im surprised at the low number as it seems to be the better game compared to the first one...
avatar
Tarnicus: Fuck :(

Even 75 copies of this is going to take a while. Might be time to "sell" this sale on other methods again just like Theme Park in order to get to the next games.
Wow it's selling!

jackthejerk: 75 copies ,, the anti-keene edition
I really hope he doesn't come back with a vengeance. Be funny if he tries to beat 75 copies though.

Wasnt it the first one which took a while last time?
FINALLY

Austrobogulator: I heard that if you click the ladybird three times, then click the 'buy now' button, you're 25% more likely to receive the game for free :P
Only if you click the spots in the right order. ;)

psyciceman: It is an option (usually) it's just somewhere when Microsoft decided that everything belonged on the cloud there must've been some guys who went "yeah, that's a good idea"

I can't think of a single game in my steam library (well over 300 games) that forces cloud saves, though there are some (maybe most actually) that automatically back up to the cloud, which is done at the end of a session
EDIT: I just checked, there is an option in Steam to enable cloud saves where supported. I think it's on by default
Thanks for that info. I'm rather not cloud save and back up and transfer saved games manually as I always have than to use Steam for it.

That must be why I didn't get anything! :)

By the way, this lack of Sam & Max is killing me...

No problem, I do agree that it is better to back it up yourself, but I haven't had a problem with Steam doing it, and I've changed computers twice since starting to use it.
high rated

Nope, it was Ten Hammers, just shortly after the Entomorph debacle... Second round ground to a halt completely.
