Yeah I found out the hard way when I bought a couple of Batman games on Steam on my account for my girlfriend to play and it asked me to install GFWL and I told Steam to fuck off. GFWL will never be installed on any of my computers. Im glad it is going this year.

Tarnicus: I'm that unfamiliar with Steam still even though I have over 700 games on there, I wasn't aware that cloud saving was ever a REQUIREMENT. Serious? I assumed it was an option :( I might have to look up which games require it.
It is an option (usually) it's just somewhere when Microsoft decided that everything belonged on the cloud there must've been some guys who went "yeah, that's a good idea"

I can't think of a single game in my steam library (well over 300 games) that forces cloud saves, though there are some (maybe most actually) that automatically back up to the cloud, which is done at the end of a session
EDIT: I just checked, there is an option in Steam to enable cloud saves where supported. I think it's on by default

Unfortunately, I was mistaken (woke up less than half an hour ago) and the next game will be totally random. I can keep an eye for Long Live the Queen if you wish.

Greetings to you. fellow GOGins! Just snatched one copy of Flatout 2 (may the pile go away fast for all, who are waiting for the next things!). Too bad I had internet problems so missed the fun in this thread for the last evening... but I will read it later - just too much fun :)

Ughh been waiting all day for Long Live the Queen... now it's 3 am and I can't wait more... sooooo if someone was really nice could they get a copy for me and I can find some way to pay them back through e-transfer or something I would very much appreciate it. (unless u just wanna gift it lol)

I saw this at the first day! And being a newGOG at this time, I first wondered the big number and then how fast it had gone away. Now I understand, having waited through some Hammers and such, too :)

it seems I'm in the same boat as everyone else. If Long Live the Queen goes on sale, could someone please pleeease pick one up for me? I'll repay it immediately (and be forever in your debt).

There's always that slight chance Alan Wake will pop up again and I can finally get back to normal life for a few hours.
