ahmedshaltout: i keep telling my friends about how amazing this community is. I keep telling them that not only is it because it's a bunch of friendly people who care about games that truly have flare but it seems that they seem to be a bunch of creative, fun and inspired people from around the globe.. told my friends i feel that it would be awesome if the world was this connected in real life so we can meet amazing and nice people from different countries rather than being the only one of our kind in each physical area that we live in :D
It can be ahmedshaltout, but it requires a change in attitude from within to see the "other" as "similar"(not "same") rather than "different". Focus on common ground and dispense with focusing on difference. Or better yet, embrace difference rather than criticise it, which can be VERY challenging, depending upon how ingrained one's own cultural beliefs are.
I remember when I gifted Chezybezy a game once, and they were so blown away that they said they were going to donate money to a charity as I didn't want anything in return. Something as simple as throwing a smile a stranger's way or asking them if they are ok when in obvious distress can go a really long way to changing someone's day.
Say "gidday mate!" in a strong Australian accent rather than looking fearfully is also a great way to avoid being mugged in Phoenix Arizona, although I can't guarantee this would work for everyone lol
nuketakuler: how long have u guys been doing this spring sale thing drooling over countdowns?
Long enough to forget how many gift copies of the current game I've bought and buy another one :D
