Ixamyakxim: Okay I have to ask - is Shelter actually a good game? It's just disappeared almost immediately all three times. The first time I saw it was on round one of the sale, and it was one of the few games I clicked on the description because I had never heard of the game. About 30 seconds later I was in the other room in stiches, because I HAD to tell someone there was a game which had the sole premise of being a mother badger. So, has anyone actually played this and how is it? I GOTTA know.
My daughter loves it :) I understand it's quite a short game, and there doesn't appear to be any way to save the game if you need to take a break.

I like it! You are in charge of a strike team, and choose at the start which side you want to be on. You pick up weaponry as you go, and I just had a lot of fun with it. Like Red_Frog said, very XCOM ish. Lots of solid uses of elevation as well as sneaking. Great grenades. Good times.

Well I thought about restocking my gifts a little bit, and got a key for S2 for free! My first freebie! Too bad it wasn't for Battle Worlds Kronos or Democracy, but oh well, someone else gets to benefit for me pressing a button.

Dumann: To kill the time, I've got a quick question for you guys: A while back I bought a bundle with a lot of the RPG classics like Baldur's Gate, Forgotten Realms Demon Stone, D&D Dragonshard, Temple of Elemental Evil, Icewind Dale, Planescape Torment and Neverwinter Nights. When I've recovered from the insomnia I'm planning on catching up with those classics. Which would be the best to start with for somebody that missed out on these games in the past? (since he was too busy playing Bullfrog games) Or are they all extremely hard core with a steep learning curve and do you recommend another similar game first?
I'd go with Planescape. It's, I would say, a bit more story driven than most. Not that it can't have action, mind you.foxworks

Alien8n: Thanks guys :)
Literally woke to see the counter dropping past 50 so was able to grab it before it sold out (did have a scare on the payment page when the paypal page failed to load properly the first time)

We like to sit and play a game together for a little while before she goes to bed (we've been working on The Inner World recently). I've told that if she likes it enough to want to play it by herself, we can move it from my laptop to hers. Now that her SATS are finished, we can give it a try next week before going back to The Inner World.

Planescape Torment is the best one to start with, and the best one to finish with. It's just the single best game ever, no joke.PrinceTuiTeka

I think torment is the best of that lot. Hands down, but Balurs gate may be the better for an introduction into those style of gamesodbo255

If you start with Neverwinter Nights you may get sucked in so deep you never play the rest! BTW, I am a DM at a NWN persistent world (The World of Aenea): http://www.amethyst-dragon.com/nwn/index.php Come over and give it a try when you are up and running.
EDIT1: Oh and the campaign modules that come with the game (especially the first one) are not that great. However, there is LOTS of excellent community content and persistent worlds to play with. And it has excellent tools to create your own modules.
EDIT2: BTW, I'm a big PS:T fan as well.

Good morning/evening/whatever,
would anyone like to swap a giftcode for Hitman 2 against Little Big Adventure 2? I just fell asleep and missed the Hitman 2 offer.
