Spinorial: None dis-meant. Looking out for people's wishlists on a caffeine-addled half-mind is no mean feat. Cheers and props!
hehe I thought as much. I've missed posts galore directed at me in this thread(that I've seen when reading back) and am sure I've missed plenty more :)

Spinorial: I've got you now, all befuddled and sleep-deprived. Run, Coward!
Beware, I...have finished all the leftovers. Wait, are those my feet? Dude...

Tarnicus: I am curious as to what those governmental and civics lessons would be from the game.
Probably not many of a social or ethical nature, since those are hard to do in a game. I'm thinking more of the mechanical lessons, such as those tied to legislation and budgetary issues. Also lessons on interactivity, such as how funding or excluding some efforts may lead to unexpected knock-on consequences.

LynetteC: Now I'm even more SUPER thankful (if that's possible) for the awesome IAmSinistar's generous gift yesterday. (BTW it took me a while to work out how to redeem that code lol)
Glad you got it! It's all worked out fine. Have a good time at the charity function, and wow the crowd in between your deal hunting. :D

Neverfree: Thank you for that! Turns out it was a compatibility issue with the launcher. Just had to troubleshoot it and was fixed quickly, thankfully! :)
Glad to hear :)

_zero_: Well, I was waiting for shelter (missed the first 2 rounds entirely as I had yet to join gog) and I left for literally like 10 min halfway through the game before shelter. And I missed it :( It went very quickly.

foxworks: That's just not right. Please check your PM for some soothing Shelter!

Also, forgive me, but Im not sure what to do with the code?

Thank you :))

koima57: Ouch.. Make yourself a favor, get the PSN version for either PSP, Vita, Ps3 or Ps4, this is hurting visuals. Or yeah, wait and pray for a Pc port of the original, just not these poor alternate versions.
avatar
Gnostic: Ah you see, you know the PSN version have PSP, Vita, PS3, PS4. I am not buying consoles again and again for some games.

Then some of the games are not compatible with newer consoles and some of the games are not compatible with older consoles.

You have to buy the same game again that is compatible with the newer consoles, or you have keep older consoles somewhere in case you want to play the game again.

I don't like this kind of milking so I may buy the game and ditch it somewhere, then play it on the PC emulator...... if my massive backlog of games fail to hold back my itch
Yes, this game has had many ports already.. From SNES to PsOne to GBA, to the PSN, to now Ipad / Iphone, Android devices..

But I think the most fair of all is still the PSN one, it's tied to your one account and can be played on almost all Sony devices. Especially, the design in these new ports is frankly betraying the original, beside pretty artworks for the characters, their in-game rendering is awful. :o

Alien8n: Thanks guys :)

Literally woke to see the counter dropping past 50 so was able to grab it before it sold out (did have a scare on the payment page when the paypal page failed to load properly the first time)

Spinorial: Just remember to keep an eye on your daughter for the early signs of unhinged despotic tendencies ;)
She gets those from me :)

(Seriously though, she's a proper mini-me. Same tastes in games, tv, music, just 2 points off my IQ as well)

You've probably missed even more in other threads *snigger*

Thank you my kind Keane overlords for this free gift!
Okay I have to ask - is Shelter actually a good game? It's just disappeared almost immediately all three times. The first time I saw it was on round one of the sale, and it was one of the few games I clicked on the description because I had never heard of the game. About 30 seconds later I was in the other room in stiches, because I HAD to tell someone there was a game which had the sole premise of being a mother badger. So, has anyone actually played this and how is it? I GOTTA know.
