That's why I checked the thread after a little break when I saw Democracy 3 come up as I knew someone who had contributed significantly to this thread was after it. Has anyone got a gift copy covered for this just in case? My card is only $20 in the red but I shouldn't actually have a credit limit on my debit card(sometimes they get generous and allow me to overspend) and when I tried to get a more expensive game last time the charge didn't go through but every other small purchase has since.

Maybe because they revamp the older FF series with better graphics / balance and release it on smartphone?
They got to stay exclusive due to some deals?

Never really got into that series. I....think....I beat the first one a very long time ago, but it ended at that. And yeah, 7th Saga is all kinds of brutal. For the American version, they changed the rate at which XP is built up to 1/4th of the Japanese version, made the enemies level up at the standard rate so they can keep one-shotting you, put in fights where you are ridiculously outmatched and somehow managed to screw up the game so hard (the cynical side of me thinks they did this on purpose) that if you don't choose the priest as a companion, you end up with him as an unkillable adversary due to him eventually gaining a spell that restores all life, all MP, AND gives them back the cost of casting the spell, making them unbeatable.
That game is so screwed.

I honestly don't know what their thinking is anymore. They put out Final Fantasy 13 without towns, for crying out loud. That was one painfully boring, dimwittedly written disaster of a game, and it had at least a 50 percent cutscene/gameplay ratio.
