bluey83: Solvang is a lovely place to visit, it was one of the places I passed through on a trip to California some years back.
Do you think it would be a nice place for a young child as well? Always gotta plan ahead for family vacations.

txnca: You're welcome. It has been one of those days!

Neverfree: Haha yeah. Some VERY slow games today o.o
Oh yeah! All day slow as can be then I leave to help my daughter to hand out fliers and then they go BOOM and zip through!

Tarnicus: Hence I now have 4 cats (the largest from each litter became my steadfast followers and my girlfriend got the runt of one litter). And yes it was quite stressful and had me think a lot about the stresses of humans crowding in cities. Lots of fights, competition over resources, each finding their own tiny space inside to be theirs...and Im talking about the cats here lol

I'm about 5 pages behind the current thread, so I'm mind warping back to the past/future/present in order to respond whilst multi-tasking :)

I don't have anything on my list for me left I don't think. Am only looking to grab codes for a project I'm like to test out on GOG :)

Tarnicus: I believe it is any game. The two I've won are 2 of the most expensive - Sam & Max Beyond Space and Time and Divinity: Dragon Commander
Thanks for the info as well.
Final question, I swear, but is there any way to set the freebie you got as a gift, even if you don't have it? I got Aarkash: Legacy, but it only had a message that it had been added to my account, nothing about redeeming it as a gift. That's kinda sad, since it also seems to be on the expensive side, but not the sort of thing I'd be interested in (MOBAish ARPG that's high on the tactics but low on the story).
Back and ready for the next game!

You must contact support within 14 days to change it into a gift code and not make any attempt to download it - that is do not click on it on your game shelf at all!!! apparently :(

jetarr: That sounds like it would do it. Ever visited that danish town in the US? Solvej i believe it's called.
avatar
vulchor: I haven't, no. Do you happen to know which state it is in? I'd be surprised to learn if it's anywhere other than Minnesota or Wisconsin.

In Michigan, there's a German town called Frankenmuth that we used to visit, but I had never heard of a Danish town around.
Huh, in CA. Who would have guessed? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solvang,_California

Doh, as 4 other people already said. That's what I get for replying to a 20 minute old post.

Well I have to say first taht it was a long time ago I went so a lot will probably have changed and I was only there for a day. It was mainly little shops and bakeries and the like that I got to see as I was with company who thinks that all you do is shop at these places lol. There was lots of grass area and people having picnics and that sort of thing too.

Of course, if said young child likes sparkly Christmas things they would love it, there was at least a couple of shops that were solely selling Christmas things! It was truly like stepping into Santa's grotto!
I bought this symphony. I don't know why, but my threshold to buy games seems to be slipping lower and lower the longer this promo goes.............

I would not have buy it under normal circumstance, let me shore up my resistance by reminding myself that I have breach 200 games early this year, after a series of promo by this naughty GOG I have 293 of now, hording an eye popping 100 games in this few months.........

No, not working, it makes me want to breach the 300 milestone even more.........

There's even a Native American run casino nearby...

phaolo: Do only the old users get the freebies?
Yes you have to be in your 30s at least to win free games!
I know this has been asked a million times but how exactly do freebies work again? Is it that you just click "Buy Now" and you may randomly get the option on the screen to get it free? I want to make sure so as that I'm not doing it wrong.
