Jsmnox: Sadly, yes, I know someone who has got more than 5 freebies. I hate that person so badly...
(And no, it's not me. I've got 3)
Don't hate your girlfriend. ;-P

And I'm out too, cheers everyone for the good company, see you all in a few hours. ;-)

vulchor: At least he had fun =) I always play Danes or Swedes when I play games like Crusader Kings or Civ. I know that someone who's obsessed with English culture is called an Anglophile, I guess I'd be a Skandiphile because I'm all about Scandinavian culture. I even get imported Lingonberries, cloudberry, and gooseberry jam to have for breakfast every morning. Nothing beats Lingonberries.

jetarr: A little too much fun I'd say. But he did construct some very nice buildings and monuments while he was at it, so I guess it's fair. It's interesting that you're a scandiphile... never met one of those before :D
I guess it's probably a combination of being raised in a country that is so young (from the white man's perspective), loving hockey (Team Sweden is the team I root for, not Team USA) and winter and cold weather, and being surrounded by Scandinavian ex-pats who all had awesome grandparents from those countries (I didn't really have any grandparents).

Melhelix: Everybody has a chance at getting freebies. My guess would be that there are 5? (has anyone received more than 5 freebies?) allocated to each account, and it's just a matter of finding which of the 100 are yours. So those who click (click, not actually purchase) on every title have a better chance.
It's probably just a small chance, I think I've already tried every game by now..
I asked about the user age, because I only saw posts about freebies by those subscribed years ago.

Senteria: Good night and happy hunting everyone.
Good night Senteria!

trentonlf: I've bought 18 and no freebies so I guess someone else has been getting mine if that was the case LOL. And yes I have been clicking buy on every game even if not buying
Ah well, I am still just guessing. I could be completely wrong! :D

At least you got some :P
I've purchased 50 games during this sale, not one of them was free.
It must be random.

xjay73: Do you suppose this thread could be used as a source in a psychology thesis... the effects of insomnia sales on the mind of the gamer (or something like that)?
I'd volunteer for that study given my insomniac experiences. I'm better but miss on average 2-3 nights of sleep per month still and it really stuffs with me. The manic high however is great :P

That sounds like it would do it. Ever visited that danish town in the US? Solvej i believe it's called.

We're same gog age and I got two, so keep clicking.
the sam and max games coming up, are they worth a play through?

babark: I think I'm done now with the list, if The Last Express shows up again I might get that, though.

I'm sorry if this was asked before in one of the 500 pages, but is anyone checking which games come up as freebies? I doubt it'd be ANY game from the sale list, it must be a specific subset, right?
And are people are getting freebies of games they already own? (that they can give as gifts)
So far I got 1 game free, I'm pretty happy with that, but is there a limit? Have people gotten more?

Thanks!
I believe it is any game. The two I've won are 2 of the most expensive - Sam & Max Beyond Space and Time and Divinity: Dragon Commander
