babark: I think I'm done now with the list, if The Last Express shows up again I might get that, though.

I'm sorry if this was asked before in one of the 500 pages, but is anyone checking which games come up as freebies? I doubt it'd be ANY game from the sale list, it must be a specific subset, right?
And are people are getting freebies of games they already own? (that they can give as gifts)
So far I got 1 game free, I'm pretty happy with that, but is there a limit? Have people gotten more?

Thanks!

Coelocanth: Can't recall who, but someone reported having received three games free.
I believe all games are available for free. It doesn't matter if you have the game or not. If you do, you receive a gift code instead :)

mc_leod: Welcome back Mate
you missed something cute ;-) see post 9932

Tarnicus: Awesome getting QFG. Have you grabbed everything you were after?

Re the cute thing...I love cats, kittens are gorgeous but I'm sooo kittened out after living in a house for a year and a half where there were 22 kittens born because the cat owner was too lazy/cheap/whatever to get his female desexed.
as far as me concerns i think im glad - of course betrayal
and now after someone here had talked about the last express i have still something on list maybe if one of thetwo comes the next 7h.

22 kittens well thats a touch too much you know - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6hLLe7j_tKA

PS: whats on your list? have shelter key and some others but have to look whats left

HypersomniacLive: Actually, Luftrausers was worse - 2,5hrs.

psyciceman: Wow, thought that one would fly by, being such a popular (or so I thought) and recent game
The discount was not as generous as other games. (40% I think?)

I have gotten two free games so far, both of them games that I already owned. And I believe that any of the 100 games are fair play, as I heard from people getting Divinity: Dragon Commander for free.

jetarr: Indeed, we were totally the pirates of the north. But then we had a king who drank and whored our entire viking loot away :(

vulchor: At least he had fun =) I always play Danes or Swedes when I play games like Crusader Kings or Civ. I know that someone who's obsessed with English culture is called an Anglophile, I guess I'd be a Skandiphile because I'm all about Scandinavian culture. I even get imported Lingonberries, cloudberry, and gooseberry jam to have for breakfast every morning. Nothing beats Lingonberries.
Mmmmmmmmm cloudberry lambic

I would buy you a copy of Torchlight, don, but I fear it might be underappreciated. :-D

Tarnicus: Away for 15 hours and the list is only up to 60? Wow they must have must some large numbers of crap up!
avatar
psyciceman: Yeah, Hitman slowed it down (that's when I went to bed) and I think Syberia lasted for a couple of hours
Any idea how long Hitman was around for? Has anything topped FSW Ten Tons of Crap? (that was the longest at 5 hours or so in round 2 from memory)
Hey all, today is my birthday, and I'm about to head out to party for the next eight hours or so. As such, it seems likely that I'll miss the last two items that I was hoping to pick up in the sale, Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse and Space Quest 4+5+6. If one or both of these show up in the next eight hours (that is, before 7:30 AM UTC, May 16th) I would be much obliged if someone would pick up a copy for me and would be willing to trade for Evil Genius or Quest for Glory 1-5. Now I realize that in the case of Sam & Max it's not exactly an equal trade, but you'd still be a wonderful person in my books for it!

Thanks GOGers!

That sounds really good, I haven't gotten to try a lambic yet. I'm thinking about opening a Scandinavian grocery where I live, since everybody here is either a Dane, Finn, Weegie (Norwegian), Swede, or German.
