Yes, many variety of Hymenoptera further divided into Apidae & Vespidae. All essential but misunderstood & disregarded. Bees & such are rather tolerable without much fear, even domesticated of sorts. Also, indeed Wasps can be bothersome but likely harmless too. However, Hornets among most aggressive, territorial, & invade other Hymenoptera. Matter is that all will take measures to avoid people, but their habitat drastically reduced as encroachment & destruction occurs, even resources poisoned; eradicating ecosystem relationships then imposing synthetic constructs such as gardens leave them no choice.
Though your encounter is interesting.
There is a DLC for FallOut 3, called The Pitt, that requires attaining bigots from around a Foundry & they really created a great presentation of height with a rather immersive perspective. Worth playing & among my favorite greatest.

I also have a fear of deep waters. Never learned to swim. lol. I always keep imagining that there are sharks and dead grasping hands at the bottom. Just waiting for me. Damn. I really need to know how to swim. lol

GenlyAi: I'd like the first one : Barrow Hill: Curse of the Ancient Circle (I think that's the first.

What scares me the most is... being near deep bodies of water, like deep sea or probably all kinds of swimming pools. That's apparently called Thalassophobia. In the end, what really scares is drowning.
Do you know how to swim though? I don't.

Random_Coffee: I'm shameful to admit it, but I'm a grown man that really don't like syringes. It's at a point where I can't even look at a picture of one or hear descriptions about it without feeling physically uncomfortable. I've been exposed to a few over the years of course, but I could just never get used to it. At least it inspires me to stay healthy and keep my teeth clean, hehe..
I also hate the pain of needles(not the sight as much)...also if I may ask....how do needles keep teeth clean?

Random_Coffee: I'm in. Thanks for the giveaway!
I assume you meant for both games...correct?

Also if so you're now entered, so good luck to you. :)

I played FO3 a bit over the years, but due to it's open world and difficulty to keep track of what i've done(I explore every tiny bit of ground) I could never finish it....it is fun, though. :)

This reminds me of Raz(main player char) from Psychonauts.

Yup, both games :) I guess I worded it kind of confusing, but what I meant was: I take good care of the teeth so I don't have to get anything done at the dentist.. which may or may not include syringes :P

Also, while we're discussing spooky stuff; I rarely get scared by games anymore, but one that really got me was Project Zero. It gave me constant chills and a feeling of dread throughout the game. I'd say it's hands down my favorite horror game. It has some really disturbing sound design, and doesn't rely on jumpscares. I have the sequel here on my shelf. I should play that too..

I do not. People keep telling me that if I learned, I wouldn't fear it anymore. But I think I'm far too fear to learn. So, chicken and egg problem. :p
On the bright side though, I somewhat conquered my fear of heights by going on a dead drop thing. You get strapped to a 120-150 feet pole and get dropped and then swing like a damn pendulum. Was scared shitless but was fun. I would want to do it again. lol
