I really think so!

Yattaaaaaa! The Japanese Sale is back, bringing copious amount of eccentric NPCs, oversized weapons, emotional roller coasters and gravity-defying hairdos.

Look, there's something here for everyone: fast-paced action/RPGs like the acclaimed Ys series and the recent Tokyo Xanadu eX+, classic jRPGs like Cosmic Star Heroine and The Legend of Heroes series, satirical turn-based RPGs like the lovely Hyperdimension: Neptunia, and eerily sentimental tales like Higurashi When They Cry.

And let's not forget our lovely newcomers: Ys: Memories of Celceta, Shining Song Starnova, and A Kiss for the Petals - Remembering How We Met.

The Japanese Sale ends August 1, 10 PM UTC.

Can you start again...?
Just in time for Ys: Memories of Celceta.
Serious Question

I've been on the fence about the Way of the Samurai games for a while now. They LOOK a lot like Jade Empire, however looks can be deceiving. For example, this is me IRL.

But back on topic, can any comparison be drawn between the two games?
Very nice sale but i own almost everything on it already. Plus im waiting for Celceta at this point :)

On a side note: Gog - chan is too cute :D

at the begining I was hyped. But then saw actual discounts.
Not so special - most of titles, Im intrested in, are less than 50% off. Better luck next time
What the?

Oh sorry or should I rather say 何 instead?

Anyway, the hair is a nice detail, well done artist. Makes me wonder how other Store-chans like Steam and itch.io would look like, haha.

I don't think they're all too similar.

I played Way of the Samurai 4 and it's a super interesting experience, recommend giving it a shot. It's sort of a sandbox action-RPG with stunning attention to detail that makes it a very deep rather than expansive. There are tons of interesting but unconventional design elements, time passes and NPCs act regardless of your actions. I believe it also includes some roguelite elements which carry over across playthroughs (but I never got that far).

I'd like to go in order. Is it a mistake playing #3 first?
Was wondering what to do with my wallet funds, so Ys I & II got instabought. Any other must haves?

I'd go with the "Legend of Heroes" series, if you haven't already. I just bought "Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 3rd" to complete my collection. With it being on sale, I couldn't really justify putting it off, especially since I devoured the first two.

On that note... dammit, GOG! Here I am trying to limit my gaming budget, and you put like a quarter of my wishlist on sale in the same week.
