A sci-fi RPG's sale and The Outer Worlds is not in it?

A heads up for people the game The Technomancer has a bug that prevents it from loading gameplay if you have a CPU with more than 8 cores (and sometimes even if you have 8 cores)

https://www.gog.com/forum/the_technomancer/cpu_cores_problem

This thread has more info and how you can boot your computer to disable cores to get the game to run properly.
Nice selection, but Mass Effect is missing. :)

I'm calling it now, next weeks theme is post apocalyptic RPGs.
I went through checked how much The Surge 1 and 2 would cost with and without DLCs.

Without any DLCs, the Dual pack is the cheapest by like a buck at around $15.

With all DLCs, including cosmetics would be...
- The Surge Augmented Edition $8.99
- The Surge 2 Premium Edition $14.99
- The Surge 2 URBN Gear Pack(Not included in Premium...it seems) $2.00
Total, like $26

With only mission expansions/DLC, no cosmetics, would be..
- Dual Pack $14.99
- The Surge 1 The Good, The Bad, The Augmented. $4.68
- The Surge 1 A Walk in the Park $6.69
At this point you're already like a dollar away from matching the $26 from above, but I'll keep going.
- The Surge 2 The Kraken Expansion $6.69
Total uh around $33.

Basically your best bang for your buck here is getting each Super Deluxe Ultra Edition Separately.

e:Having said all that, how are these games.
e2: Also, for people avoiding the main RPG month page for whatever reason, the 2 day Flash deal is Tainted Grail: Conquest at 25% off for $14.99.

NuffCatnip: I'm calling it now, next weeks theme is post apocalyptic RPGs.
Post-apocalyptic is a sci-fi subgenre. Some of the games in this sale are post-apocalyptic. I won't ask where the other post-apocalyptic games are in this sale (or the alternate history games, or other sci-fi subgenres), because these themed sales never include all the games matching the theme (or, sometimes, even the most representative matches for the theme)..

Basically a sci-fi Dark Souls with a unique mechanic, where you have to target a specific part of an enemy to cut it off and get the armor part or weapon they are using to make it available for you to use. If you cut something you already have, you get materials relevant to crafting and upgrading that part. Each enemy body part (left and right leg, left and right hand, body and head) can be armored or unarmored. Armored parts are more resistant to damage, but reward you with the materials I described above. Armor has sets that have specific bonuses, or you can mix and match however you like. There are also-non humanoid enemies that have destructible parts which you can cut off before finishing the baddie entirely to make the fight easier by disabling some of their attacks or crippling them in some way.

Almost everything else is as I said, the standard Souls-like fashion.

I can definitely recommend them, if you don't mind pretty difficult games.

I had barley with tomatoes, olives and basil.

Also, ELEX is quite good, yes! Probably the best from Piranha Bytes since Gothic 2. The massive open world is a bit dispersive towards the end, it's clear they had far more time to work on earlier areas, but it is still full of tresures to find, exploration is always rewarding - sometimes with incredible rarities, sometimes with horrendous monster encounters.
Also: jetpack. Yours to use after the first 10 minutes from the start. Verticality is the word, and it works greatly.
Very solid C&C with believable factions and intertwining plots.
Combat is Piranha standard: painful and punishing at first, but when you carve your way from mr. nobody to experienced fighter, it is as good if not better than many of its peers.

Yes, I have, and it's a mix of the second of the gothic series and Risen... for both casual and hardcore as it has modular difficulty customization settings, much like the pathfinder series.
