Some of the games are on 75% and 80% discounts reasonably often, luckily. Whether you can hold out that long is another matter, of course.

I'm getting so old that I just bought the Enhanced Editions of BG and BGII. I know how to install the widescreen mods and all that, but can no longer be bothered to go through the hassle every time I buy a new piece of hardware or something.

Just what I've been waiting for. I picked up BG, which I've never played. I can afford one more EE, question is whether BG2, which I've played back in the day, or IWD. Should I play SoD before BG2? Hmm....

In my case it's about $22 to buy the whole collection (I've already got 3 titles) and $34 to buy only the titles I want. Well, in such case, I can accept paying less and getting a few titles I'm not interested in ;)

Owned complete collection.
I seldom recommend against a game, but I will make an exception for Siege of Dragonspear. It is lousy game, not worth the money. And this is for pure gameplay reasons,not the political stuff.

BTW,the D and D game I would like to see a upgraded version of is "Dungeonhack". A lot of fun when you just want to go into a dungeon and kill something. Surprised no one has released a modern version of this. Still the best random dungeon game ever devised.

But the most impressive is how many evenings of great adventures are there. Those game have really incredible atmosphere and for gamers who are fine with playing retro, it's just priceless what's offered here.
