Thank you for this service.
All old Guild games -90%? Nice, I was waiting for a discount like that.
Nice to see Red Faction: Armageddon, even without its achievements.
How does Red Faction: Armageddon compare to the first Red Faction? Is "Path to War" worth it?

guppy44: Thanks GOG and THQ! You two have a most beautiful relationship and I hope it continues far into the future.

Mr.Mumbles: If only THQ's parent company leaned on Deep Silver to make them release more games here as well. *le sigh*
Agreed, but at least they're making an effort. Unlike certain other recently promo'ed publishers that I won't name, their DRM free catalog hasn't been identical for several years running...
The Guild 1 Gold or The Guild 2 Renaissance?

Ixoliptis: The Guild 1 Gold or The Guild 2 Renaissance?
Don't know the answer, but when I saw the discount I ran to the cashier with the whole series :)

That's really good sale, a lot of great discounts, indeed. Please, note that RWarehall's forum list contains only new lows – I suppose a lot of games here are in prices equal or close to historical lows. Check the spreadsheet.
The Guild 2 Renaissance, according to a review is quite buggy and needs something called "Legacy" mod.
Nexus seems to have something called "Fajeth's Megamodpack".
Can anyone tell how buggy the game is, is the megamodpack helpful, and should I be okay with running the game in WINE?

Ixoliptis: The Guild 1 Gold or The Guild 2 Renaissance?
I picked up both.

The reviews imply that the original is a less buggy experience, but I haven't played enough to confirm that.

To be honest, the bigger question is whether it is worthwhile to buy more than one of the Guild 2 games. I can't see there being enough unique content to justify playing a version that probably has fewer patches (and the reviews suggest they are badly needed)

Apparently only Renaissance is worth when it comes to the Guild 2 (seems that it includes the content of the other Guild 2 games).

Personally I bought the Guild 1 because it seemed to be a better overall experience.

EDIT: Typos.

impressive sale. I would pick the first two Gothics (the first one remains my favourite crpg), ALL the Kingart adventure games (the first two Book of Unwritten Tales are my favourites of the later years, and I play them all), Tachyon (that game has as many fans as people that forget it exists) ... actually there are only a few games I totally not recommend (15 days, Mystery of the Druids)
I guess the Red Faction: Armageddon discount was only good for a few days. Too bad I missed it.

According to the GOG Editor it should still be running. So I assume its a glitch, or they have ended it early or got it wrong in the OP.

That's why I thought I had time to see today's deals and grab this game. Maybe a blue can shed light on it? Was still a great sale while it lasted and a great release.
