Would have been nice to see a DOOM (2016), Skyrim SE, or Fallout 4 release alongside this sale.

fortune_p_dawg: skyrim!1!!@@!!!2!
When I saw the unexpected Bethesda sale on the front page, I was thinking it might be to celebrate the release of Skyrim on GOG. Alas...
avatar
argamasa: Quite common, in the last 3-4 months probably there were 2-3 of them, with more or less discounts.
at least in December we had that Heretic/Hexen surprise and at a very good price.
Rogue Warrior or bust!

No because of DOOM 3 BFG Edition
Couple of things. The discounts are not always the same. Depends on when the games are offered for sale on GOG.. btw Xmas sale almost never have the biggest discounts (try the big sale before this). Why does Bethesda refuse to sell Skyrim here?. Its like the oldest popular of theirs not here right?.

Yeah, in general the Christmas Sales will usually be good, but not AS good, as at other times of year. There's just a huge simultaneous selection and usually it includes everything you may have previously missed.

As for Skyrim, I assume Bethesda is probably working on a policy of not releasing their most recent Elder Scrolls/Fallout game on GoG until there's another one on the market.

Skyrim's been around forever, but we haven't gotten the next game just yet so . . . Wait we shall.

emme: I suppose this is a good thread to ask.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus says on the store page it has full Japanese language support (audio and text). However, I haven't been able to find it - including trying both editions offline installers and installing them through Galaxy.

I submitted a support ticket soon after purchasing the game when it released (Dec 17th), but I did not yet receive any replies about it.

Has anyone else been able to find how to install the Japanese language option for this game?
I don't own The New Colossus but there are mainly 4 ways to change one's language if it has multi-versions installers for different languages no matter what game it is.

1. Select the game on your web browser, use the "Language" drop-down menu and choose the one you like from what are listed. Then you should be able to download the offline installers of the language you want.

2. If you prefer Galaxy, you can set up your global language settings. Click on the gear-like icon on the top left and select settings from the drop down menu. Then you can choose your preferred game language after switching to the page of "Installing, updating" on the pop-up window.

3. Of course you can also choose the language for just one individual game. Select the language on the window after you click the install button and that's it.

4. If you'd like to download the installers through Galaxy, go to the Extras page and do as the same as what you should do on the web browser.

Pictures shown. Hope this help.

Crimson-X: No because of DOOM 3 BFG Edition
That's a reason? The BFG edition is clearly inferior.

Addition:

In case you are using offline installers sometimes you will find an additional option to change the language by chosing "options" in installer prior to the installation as well (languages are listed on the bottom left in that case).

+1 for Skyrim and Fallout 4 ... how long do we have to wait, until these old bones finally arrive here xD

I bought the deluxe edition for Wolfenstein II, and wouldn't you know it, the base game and season pass continue to be marked as NOT OWNED in GOG's store and sale page.

I also bought ALL the Evil Within games and DLC, but The Evil Within Bundle remains marked as NOT OWNED.

I have all the original Fallout games(1+2+T), but of course they appear as NOT OWNED because... well, we all know why...

Goddammit GOG!

I'm amazed that having the Hexen/Heretic collection marks all content as owned as well.
