Deals so good, you won't want to fall asleep.
You remember back when you used to walk into a store, browse the shelves, pick out a game, and then buy it--all in the actual real world? We don't know about you, but most of us at GOG.com have had our limbs atrophy to small vestigial nubbins since all of our shopping happens online these days. Of course, one thing that sometimes happens in real world stores with real world goods--particularly when they have a good sale--is that they run out of stock. Usually that means that the deal was so good that they couldn't keep up with demand.

Well, in the digital realm, this is usually pretty rare. How do you run out of stock on digital games, short of entropy devouring the universe? Well, we have gotten 101 games that will be on sale on the front page of GOG.com, but the discounts are so high at the moment that we can't just sell an unlimited number of copies of these games: we are only able to sell a few at these discounts--up to 80% off--and once they're gone, they're gone.

So what games will be on sale in our Insomnia promo? Bestselling classics and new games alike. There will also occasionally be some free games in super limited numbers (like, 20 or 30 copies)--if you're fast enough on the trigger finger to pick 'em up, that is. The deal will run from now until we're out of "stock" of games for the sale, and games may show up more than once. So it's time to bathe in a tub of coffee*, dip some espresso**, snort an energy drink***, or do whatever else it takes to stay up so you don't miss out on the best deals on fantastic games on GOG.com since summer.
*This is probably not a good idea
**This is definitely not a good idea
***This is totally safe, though****
****NO IT'S NOT WHAT ARE YOU DOING YOU CRAZY PERSON

Missed the one game I really wanted to get this sale. For some reason, I thought some sleep would come in handy before going to work in the morning. Made me miss Theme Hospital.

Oh well...

Good on you man, good on you.

ToxicCosmos: I know what you mean. As a chick, this sale has me completely wiped out. And I, too, have work to do. >_>

MGShogun: I wish you all the best on the projects. :)

God, I hope that my projects will be............... .acceptable. X.X
Tell the teachers that the GoG ate your homework.
I went to sleep while Postal 2 was on, and Assassin's Creed is now behind us...
Meh :(

Guess I'll wait for the Christmas sale
I can't stay away from the sale. I've only bagged 3 games I really want over...3 days? Or is it 4 now? Time has no meaning in this cruel plane of existence. Yet I must push on! I must see the empires of Jade where the three thieves live. I've gone too far to turn back now.

What's that, you say? It's not worth it? Nay! Silence thy betwixt tongue! The call is sweet and caressing my mind with soothing temptations of the flesh. What god evil or otherwise would make such a sumptuous, torrid offer be born from vile beasts? Begone! Begone! Your words have no influence here!

May the rats eat your eyes!

mkess: Yes, this must be that feeling, we never get like them, in sight of underwear, shirts or shoes on sale.

MGShogun: Eye candies, yo. :P

That's only thing missing from this sale.
We had Aquanox and King's Bounty. Unfortunately the Witcher 2 cover art doesn't give you much, so you'll have to imagine the pleasures within.

That is one fantastic pun.

Will do. :D

Btw, I'm in university so that would be the professors. :)

Whoops. Nah, we might make gay jokes about each other all the time but one of them is just my bro for life and the other one's a pain in the ass and needs to get lost, so I don't love with two girls. Sadly.

Buenro-games: I didn't own it exactly because of that to be honest. And I am sure (although due to the sale my memory is a bit hazy) but I am really sure they had this crazy 85% discount on it, one day or something like that. Maybe as a bundle or buying several games or who knows, but I am sure I bought it then. Bottom line, you will definitely get it lower some day in the next months, quite sure about it. Although at this price, it is definitely a very fair price.
As a big fan of old HoMM series it was a must for me to play King's Bounty: Legend. I purchased it as soon as it appeared on GOG. It was a very good game "at start" - I played it a LOT. But then I found that GOG's version of KB:L have some serious bugs in gameplay (and they were specific ONLY to GOG's version). I created forum post, talked with GOG staff - it was very long "battle". When at some point, GOG "repaired" (or so they say) the release it was too long pause for me to sit again and replay the game, so, sadly, I never finished KB:L. :(

So to be honest, beside very high price, there is one more thing (for the person like me personally experienced with badly released original) to be afraid of GOG's version of KB:Crossworlds. :) And I hope this will be again more assured somewhere in the future, and GOG's version of KB:CW will be also bug-free.

Not stimulating enough.

:(
I just read two people giving up after waiting for Jade Empire...I think we know what game is next.
I can't believe I missed Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 Platinum! *bangs head on wall* Have there been any repeat games or is it over when it's over?

trustymutsi: Is La-Mulana "Throw your controller through the monitor" hard?
La-Mulana is odd in a way. It is hard. It is very unforgiving, if you aren't paying attention, you can get one-shotted from a trap. The mini-boses in this game are what amount to normal bosses in other games. It will test your patience and skill, as well as your mind and ability to keep notes, since almost every room has some kind of puzzle, all puzzles have hints on a tablet SOMEWHERE in the ruins, however it is still somehow fair with it. You MIGHT get to that point, but 95% of the time when you die it is your fault.
