Deals so good, you won't want to fall asleep.
You remember back when you used to walk into a store, browse the shelves, pick out a game, and then buy it--all in the actual real world? We don't know about you, but most of us at GOG.com have had our limbs atrophy to small vestigial nubbins since all of our shopping happens online these days. Of course, one thing that sometimes happens in real world stores with real world goods--particularly when they have a good sale--is that they run out of stock. Usually that means that the deal was so good that they couldn't keep up with demand.

Well, in the digital realm, this is usually pretty rare. How do you run out of stock on digital games, short of entropy devouring the universe? Well, we have gotten 101 games that will be on sale on the front page of GOG.com, but the discounts are so high at the moment that we can't just sell an unlimited number of copies of these games: we are only able to sell a few at these discounts--up to 80% off--and once they're gone, they're gone.

So what games will be on sale in our Insomnia promo? Bestselling classics and new games alike. There will also occasionally be some free games in super limited numbers (like, 20 or 30 copies)--if you're fast enough on the trigger finger to pick 'em up, that is. The deal will run from now until we're out of "stock" of games for the sale, and games may show up more than once. So it's time to bathe in a tub of coffee*, dip some espresso**, snort an energy drink***, or do whatever else it takes to stay up so you don't miss out on the best deals on fantastic games on GOG.com since summer.
*This is probably not a good idea
**This is definitely not a good idea
***This is totally safe, though****

My order of Postal 2 didn't go through the first time and I got the message of "Technical difficulty" or something basically saying it wasn't sure if it went through, so instead of waiting, I completely logged out and then back in and tried to purchase a second time which was successful. Am I gonna accidentally get double charged or anything?

will it crash forever once we get to 30000? (fear)
Yes, Postal 2 is mine, and now play the apocalypse weekend, never play it.

Brutal legend now PLZ.

AndyDivine79: I do. Lousiville, Ky It's not too bad here, although I think I am too tired to give a damn. :)
Louisville, KY has a lot of terrain effects to take into consideration, I work with AF weather and the guys that forecast that area always have a heck of a time getting severe accurate. Most of their concern is around Fort Knox though.

Chandoraa: Reposting because it seems like the site farted and my post didn't compute:

Hey, guys, what's the difference between Real Myst and Myst: Masterpiece Edition, which I just was lucky to snag for free? Is the Masterpiece Edition the optimal entry point to the series (which I never played before)?
Real Myst has an engine that allows you to move just like a FPS, Myst Masterpiece is the one to get if you want the true experience though I liked the demo of Real Myst=). It´s the same game, Real Myst is a remake of Myst.

Real Myst is in 3D and Masterpiece is the same as original 2.5D but with better graphics. For me better for start is Real Myst. It looks more like todays games. And after you used to Myst and it's world you will go to Myst 2 which has only 2.5D version, but it won't matter because you will want more "myst" puzzles.

nijuu: anyone got a Myst?
I got a mist instead.
Is it just me, or did Postal 2 slow down a bit?
Someone should predict when jade empire comes up. I've been waiting since Friday for it cause i missed it twice.

Probably not, as it forces you to buy a gift copy if you already own the game.
Also even if you did the GoG guys are so cool they may well refund one

Generally you'll want to check your email before attempting to buy it a second time. I get emails from paypal and GoG every order I place, usually within a minute.
I wish this would sell faster (I bought it in Round 2) so theme hospital could appear and I could leave. (Though I wouldn't mind if I have no mouth and I must scream to appear either. D: Real Life, shame on you for trying to be important.

Yeah, it started losing steam after about 250 copies sold.

It would likely be at either the 32k, 64k, 2M, or 4M mark...
