Deals so good, you won't want to fall asleep.
You remember back when you used to walk into a store, browse the shelves, pick out a game, and then buy it--all in the actual real world? We don't know about you, but most of us at GOG.com have had our limbs atrophy to small vestigial nubbins since all of our shopping happens online these days. Of course, one thing that sometimes happens in real world stores with real world goods--particularly when they have a good sale--is that they run out of stock. Usually that means that the deal was so good that they couldn't keep up with demand.

Well, in the digital realm, this is usually pretty rare. How do you run out of stock on digital games, short of entropy devouring the universe? Well, we have gotten 101 games that will be on sale on the front page of GOG.com, but the discounts are so high at the moment that we can't just sell an unlimited number of copies of these games: we are only able to sell a few at these discounts--up to 80% off--and once they're gone, they're gone.

So what games will be on sale in our Insomnia promo? Bestselling classics and new games alike. There will also occasionally be some free games in super limited numbers (like, 20 or 30 copies)--if you're fast enough on the trigger finger to pick 'em up, that is. The deal will run from now until we're out of "stock" of games for the sale, and games may show up more than once. So it's time to bathe in a tub of coffee*, dip some espresso**, snort an energy drink***, or do whatever else it takes to stay up so you don't miss out on the best deals on fantastic games on GOG.com since summer.
*This is probably not a good idea
**This is definitely not a good idea
***This is totally safe, though****

Only 5. At least I Hope so.

Is Alpha Centauri any good for people who only liked Civ5 and never got into the older ones?
I just hit F5, just for the satisfaction of see 450 RCRs fly by within seconds...
This sale is doing weird things to me o.0
avatar
Cardian: Jack Keane only had 100 copies, though. Nobody is gonna surpass The Keaning!
avatar
peanutsticks: Yes but Keane was $12 while RCR is 3x cheaper so its more like errr 100 copies of Keane vs 600/3=200 copies of RCR

The race is closer than you think!

(P.S. if the above math is completely f---ed and makes no sense well its 6am here and I haven't slept. blame sleep deprivation. if somehow my math is correct well then, yay me!)
You shall be yay'd!

They should have put extra copies of system shock 2 in stead of rcr.
So i guess it was a good thing that i passed out when Don't starve popped up lol.

Thank you GoG gods!!!

Edit:: Rampage looks like it has another hour at least... breakfast time it is!

Another 2 hours, 17 minutes to go. At least.
I see Keane City Rampage (or it it Retro City Keanage?) is still going strong. Well, it would be nice if the pace picked up fir the next hour, and the next Keane showed up around 1340 PM GMT+1, so i could get my work done without worrying :P

Sadly, Shadowman was up after I went to sleep during Don't starve. Well, it wasn't on my wishlist, but I would have picked it up for the deal, anyway.

Now I'm just waiting for Nexus and for I have no mouth. The only thing we have to worry about, I guess, is Omerta: City of Keane.
As bad as this is it has meant I was able to get enough sleep I'm now rested for the day ahead and I've been able to go and do a bit of shopping while dropping my daughter off at her saturday job. So it's good to get keaned once in a while.

Time how many sell in a minute and make an estimate of how long it will take, then come back about halfway to see how many are left. Based on previous sales this one has about 45 minutes left (it was selling about 3 a minute earlier)
This is sad... Was keeping myself awake last night with my alarm clock to keep checking which games came up. Turns out most of them were show stoppers.

By the time RCR is sold out, I'll be at work. And I fear I'll miss Chains of Satinav for the third time.

Anyone willing to do me a favour? If The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav turns up while I'm not around on these forums, buy me it as a gift.

And in return I will buy a game to gift you under 5 bucks later in the promo (when I'm back home), or one from the weekend promo.

(obv no more than 1 person should do this)

Would really appreciate it if someone was willing to do this for me :)
