Deals so good, you won't want to fall asleep.
You remember back when you used to walk into a store, browse the shelves, pick out a game, and then buy it--all in the actual real world? We don't know about you, but most of us at GOG.com have had our limbs atrophy to small vestigial nubbins since all of our shopping happens online these days. Of course, one thing that sometimes happens in real world stores with real world goods--particularly when they have a good sale--is that they run out of stock. Usually that means that the deal was so good that they couldn't keep up with demand.

Well, in the digital realm, this is usually pretty rare. How do you run out of stock on digital games, short of entropy devouring the universe? Well, we have gotten 101 games that will be on sale on the front page of GOG.com, but the discounts are so high at the moment that we can't just sell an unlimited number of copies of these games: we are only able to sell a few at these discounts--up to 80% off--and once they're gone, they're gone.

So what games will be on sale in our Insomnia promo? Bestselling classics and new games alike. There will also occasionally be some free games in super limited numbers (like, 20 or 30 copies)--if you're fast enough on the trigger finger to pick 'em up, that is. The deal will run from now until we're out of "stock" of games for the sale, and games may show up more than once. So it's time to bathe in a tub of coffee*, dip some espresso**, snort an energy drink***, or do whatever else it takes to stay up so you don't miss out on the best deals on fantastic games on GOG.com since summer.
*This is probably not a good idea
**This is definitely not a good idea
***This is totally safe, though****
****NO IT'S NOT WHAT ARE YOU DOING YOU CRAZY PERSON

Infin8ty: I'm kind of peeved that the few games that I want that haven't hit round 3 yet I'll probably miss during my 2 hour 1-credit Physics lab....
I think, in hindsight, that I would have rather them gone five rounds, with lower numbers per round, than one 'speed round' with low volumes, followed by all of these 100, 250, 500+ copy rounds for each game. The spirit of this sale was in the ever changing titles, I think. While my productivity has returned as a result, it doesn't feel like the same sale it was two days ago.

That, and I think the initial sale announcement was a bit misleading in that I didn't expect a second or third round of games to appear, let alone with the high volumes that they did (at the same high discounts, no less).
How long as Divinity been on sale this round?

wanderlust76: I bought DD about a month ago for like half off the game is a steal on sale. I'm about halfway through it I think. DD1 has some balance issues - the Survivor class is weak compared to the other 2 and some of the skills/spells are broken, overpowered, or underpowered. Also weapons are a little off there's a ton of good swords but hardly any maces or hammers. It's worth playing though some of the quests are cool and it's fun to explore the world. Story isn't bad at all. It's a bit different than Diablo I feel DD is more on the RPG side since it has a fully explorable non-linear open world.

Fezred: Yeah, the balance issues are there for sure. You could look at it as a "hard mode" to spice it up for a second playthrough, I suppose. It never got the sales and support for ten years like old school Blizzard would do, but still comes up as a great game. Nice to see someone else enjoying it. I've a weakness for the 2D art too.
I agree I like the art and overhead view in DD. I like the art in the games back in the early to mid 2000's in general. I wish more games like DD would come out seems like all the game makers focus on first person RPG's like Skyrim now.
So what's left, guys? Is there another round of Rogue Legacy left, or can I move on with my day?

This is why all work should be emailed to people, so you can then forward the email back to them and cc their boss with "while i don't expect an apology I will ask that you do not call me a liar when I have clearly done the job you have asked for previously as evidence by the attached email."

I've had bosses like that, even walked out of a job because of one of them :/

Tried, didn't even look at it... Said it was impossible i did it so fast (remember she thinks i didn't do it). So i either do it again (i am KINDA doing this in case she comes to check on me) or wait and then give her a copy (and risk her coming in and saying i'm slacking off)
But whatever... It will be completed in no time since im not ACTUALLY doing it... (I'm actually cutting some of it and then pasting to give the impression of doing it again)
