Deals so good, you won't want to fall asleep.
You remember back when you used to walk into a store, browse the shelves, pick out a game, and then buy it--all in the actual real world? We don't know about you, but most of us at GOG.com have had our limbs atrophy to small vestigial nubbins since all of our shopping happens online these days. Of course, one thing that sometimes happens in real world stores with real world goods--particularly when they have a good sale--is that they run out of stock. Usually that means that the deal was so good that they couldn't keep up with demand.

Well, in the digital realm, this is usually pretty rare. How do you run out of stock on digital games, short of entropy devouring the universe? Well, we have gotten 101 games that will be on sale on the front page of GOG.com, but the discounts are so high at the moment that we can't just sell an unlimited number of copies of these games: we are only able to sell a few at these discounts--up to 80% off--and once they're gone, they're gone.

So what games will be on sale in our Insomnia promo? Bestselling classics and new games alike. There will also occasionally be some free games in super limited numbers (like, 20 or 30 copies)--if you're fast enough on the trigger finger to pick 'em up, that is. The deal will run from now until we're out of "stock" of games for the sale, and games may show up more than once. So it's time to bathe in a tub of coffee*, dip some espresso**, snort an energy drink***, or do whatever else it takes to stay up so you don't miss out on the best deals on fantastic games on GOG.com since summer.
*This is probably not a good idea
**This is definitely not a good idea
***This is totally safe, though****
****NO IT'S NOT WHAT ARE YOU DOING YOU CRAZY PERSON

jpwiseguy: Plz buy this game and get tehh damn retarded horse off of my screen....thnx.
This comment is very classy, but not as classy as Jack Keane.
Bless Keane and all His 25 goddamn Fire Within.

Bless the coming and going and selling of Him,

May His passing cleanse the world.

istudedinre: Imagine if, at the very end of this, the last deal was a release of a No One Lives Forever 1+2 pack...
Now that would´ve been awesome, I do own both games but I would like for everyone to be able to buy them. The first one is one of the best FPS I ever played and it´s really funny. Sadly no one seems to know who owns the rights to this IP.
Nevmind.

Sheesh, 750 copies... 'tis a good game, but still. Any thoughts on how long this one'll take?

Captain_Picard: Just saying that if anyone is giving away any free keys for SS2 or the Witcher 1, I will be grateful to receive them.

Forget Mario and Luigi, those sewer crawling peasants. Sonic? Forget that washed out hog. Deus Ex GOTY? More like Ex GOTY.
Jack Keane 2 is a marvel of video gaming engineering and cinematic wonder. It is a true testemate to the art form that is video games and will stand the test of time with its outstanding voice acting and compelling stories that modern video games cannot recreate.
At least Myst should go fast

What is?
750 Myst at $1.49?

Sure, why not.
It's a mystery what's up next.

I only just noticed that 'Myst' is the first part of the word Mystery. Hm.
Ugh... 750 copies of Myst O.o

astraldemon: Well no1 said it's better than D2, but it was fun in some aspects... Original creator of D2 told how he never would do D# how it was done, so creator of D3 had some pretty hard words about that comment... Which ended with him apologizing in a long letter. You can google it

rtcvb32: Well the original D1/D2 teams are long gone and replaced by the same group that did WoW. Honestly if you look at it, it feels like WoW, just add Decard Cain and you got Diablo.

I remember watching early footage of D3, and I didn't like how it looked.
Well I said in other reply how they basically put WOW in this game (D3), in terms of AH, UI, Drops... It was kinda sad that they had no idea how to put some things together. And their "great" solution with gear where you can reach 1M DPS only showed in PVP where they literally told they have no idea how to made PVP fun... or balanced at that matter...

Still, I think D3 was a solid game, not great one, but ok. I certainly won't finish it few times like D2, but playing it once was ok, and some farming just for the fun of killing hundreds of mobs.
