Steam requires a proprietary client. As long as they don't sell their games completely client and DRM-free, they won't get any money from me.

I understand , but they clearly won't change. They think drm means more sold units.

Exactly. And since their business model and my conviction clash, I don't think that I will ever have a Steam account.
