Most generic game name ever! Despite of that, it's a fun little piece of entertainment, if the early demo from back in January (scroll down to the bottom of the page) is anything to go by. Have a trailer of said old-ish demo.

So what's it about? Think FPS Space Hulk meets Aliens in a roguelike-ish wrapper. Access data cores for upgrades as well as completing a floor, activate turrets, strategically close/open doors to direct alien flow, and hope you make it out alive again to reach the next level.

Here's also a nice multiplayer trailer (from April). Did I mention it will/does feature an up to four-player splitscreen mode as well as network and online play? Now I did.

Intrigued yet? Well, you should be! =P Anyway, I've been following the development of the game on and off, and it sounds like it's coming together quite nicely. I also had an e-mail exchange with the head dev, and he said he very much will look to bring the game to other distributors, including GOG, once the game is final. Currently it's very much still in early access on Steam. You might want to check that store page out just for a bit more info.

In any case, I'm very much interested. I hope you'll be, too. So for good measure, go vote for it and let GOG know you want a bit more terror in your life! ;)

Am a sucker for these. I kept playing the horrid "Horror zombies from the crypt" just for its title.
the title reminds me of GUNFORCE: BATTLE FIRE ENGULFED TERROR ISLAND

Well, most of the time when games come along with these kind of titles one already knows what to expect. Thank goodness I never had your kind of masochistic tendencies.

Yeah, SBTF really needs a name change, seeing how there's a pretty decent game behind such an awful name.

But "Aaargh" (at that time, hzftc's best contender for most awesome title ever) was a cool game !
I want this game on GoG, I even contacted the developer who was open to the idea of releasing it DRM-free once it is finished and on other stores than the terrible Steam. That was before GoG had the in-dev program.
