The "gggggg" sound noise is heard at all times; this sound noise is not heard in DX11ver. I have tried other DX12 games, but only this game plays it. Is it a bug?
I have tried reinstalling the game and DX12, changing all in-game settings, but no change in sound noise.
This noise flows even when the audio level is set to 0.
No mods are used. This noise is still played in new saved data.

yes I don't know how to turn off the article. sry
Could be a game bug, I guess you can offer the problem to the Witcher 3 support and play on DX 11 for now, or wait until you had some confirmation
Just for the sake of it ... try changing your sound output frequency in the windows settings, for the case that this is some attempt of the game engine to synchronize video with audio and that work differently in DX11 and DX12.

I usually have my sound output at 192 kHz, but for some games I have to change it to 176.4kHz.
They will either not be synchronized in longer cutscenes or produce sound errors (DosBOX does that, usually you don't notice, except if the game uses wave-music, like Turrican 2 or James Pond 2).

noraneko252511:
How are your speakers set up, are they connected to the mobo or via the graphics card?

Either way I would download the latest drivers for both, use DDU to uninstall the old drivers in safe mode and install the new ones.

noraneko252511: Epic games - DX12 version
This is an Epic Games version, not a GOG version? Maybe the support should go via Epic Games?
