Fellow goggers, got a request. Do you have updates on the status of the Softdisk publishing games? The owner Flatrocksoft vanished from the internet. their urls offline, their contact email and such are also gone. Some.of their games are on gog but others arent. Werent they selling the entire catalog? Got an idea whether someone got it and if theyll put them on sale on gogcom? They had the srcs to all the games also, and these part of gaming history seems to be gone.

There doesn't appear to be much out there. If you don't mind bothering some people there are a number of people you can find on Linkedin that list Softdisk as a previous employer. They may have contacts that are aware of the current publishing rights status.

Well, considering how old the company is, you're likely to come up with the ID software 3: John Carmack, John Romero, and Tom Hall.

Already checked there were several more actually. I’m just not going to bug them.
hmmm, maybe i shouldve named the topic Flatrocksoft publisher game status, as they got the rights to the entire Softdisk catalog. Getting Softdisk employees thats unhelpful due to softdisk having sold their catalog to this flatrocksoft. years back they were selling the softdisk titles, they had a url, with email and contacts richard mandel was the contact with flatrocksoft about getting the rights to them. All have now vanished, gone. There a method to locate whether a business has gone bankrupt and whether they sold their assets to another business or such?
Contacted a store which was still selling the softdisk titles and this wht they replied:

"this are the details we have:

richard@flatrocksoft.com · www.FlatRockSoft.com
5323 Pennsylvania Ave · Boulder CO 80303 · USA
Phone, Mobile and SMS: +1-303-499-1525
www.linkedin.com/in/richard-mandel-901750b4

"

So, softdisk or the ex employees have nothing to do with the titles. about the details
theyre all invalid now. the email doesnt exist, the urls offline, the phone # has
error number, the only thing still onlines the linkedin url which has zilch details.

No, and no.

Don't post that information, even if it is, public, and don't bump threads, please.
just trying to get a reply about these games. and it was an error, could gog.com member rename the topic to flatrock software games rights status? The early replies got it all mistaken, annoying ex softdisk employees doesnt help cause softidks sold all their catalog to this now vanished flatrock software. Thre a method to find out where its assets went ?
