The Witcher 3's fanbase is a bit annoying at the moment. You can't even discuss Pong without one of them showing up to trash Pong while declaring The Witcher 3 to be the best game ever blah blah blah.

The constant shoehorning of The Witcher 3 into every conversation is bad enough but they act like The Witcher 3 is proof that CD Projekt Red is da best publisher ever and is single handily saving gaming etc thanks to the free beard DLC...because no other company has released free token vanity DLC before...NEVER EVER!..TAKE THAT EA/UBISOFT/EVERYBODYWHOISN'TCDPROJEKTRED!!!

Oh, and everybody who likes whatever I don't like! Gahhhh darn you people having your own tastes and interests!

I expected more from you than to use a term like SJW. It is an inane catch phrase rendered totally meaningless by the idiots who use it as a rallying cry.

And just this month, someone necroed a post from August last year requesting about an Android version of Shantae Risky's Revenge (I made that post), and then 'laughed' at me and all those who play games on their phones.

So I waited this long for a low-quality response. Steam en shorte.

It was easier then naming them all one by one. Fuck that effort.

From the few things i know about fanbases,i will choose the sonic one.It was really cringey on it's own,but i believe the advent of the furry/brony/otherkin/whatever,has made things WAY worse than they should have been.Sonic,at this point,must have more fanfiction and porn related stuff than the sorceress from dragon's crown...and that says alot.This kind of fanbase, along with the mediocre/shitty sonic games which are released,is like pissing on sonic's grave,digging him out and then playing ball with his dead body.That's a sad thought for someone like me,who grew up with sonic :(

Apart from that,some anime fans are pretty rabid i believe,i had a little taste of it,during my school years with the naruto vs bleach fanboys,and even that was too much for me.I don't wanna imagine two 50 year olds raging at each other for which is the best anime ever.While 1 of them thinks he can become a super saiyan and the other one is dressed like naruto,trying to channel his inner chi.

In my experience they're all equally crappy. I haven't been able to get money from any of them.

Every single fanbase ever. Including the one that I may create in the future (now that's a thought that keeps me awake at night)

Not to say that fans of absolutely everything (Star Wars, Furry, MLP, Stephen Universe etc.) are automatically horrible human beings that should be reviled (I know that not every single GOGer is going to ridicule you for using Steam), but every single fandom has varying percentages of absolute D'bags that's pretty much the reason this thread exists.

- This One does not work on Linux. I dual boot, but i don't play Windows games by principle. Bill Gates it's too rich. I use Windows just for movies, music, office work and internet search anyway, but it sucks too bad.

- Sorry, i meant DRM-free or on old, used CDs. I hate unreliable DRM.
