No, they still haven't discovered their mistake. Somehow. After all this. They keep saying things like "sorry you're confused," "sorry the announcement was hard to understand." Nobody's confused (aside from the exact implementation details, which they keep changing), nobody found the announcement hard to understand. Hard to believe, yes. Charging for installs is completely unworkable, changing TOS retroactively is insane. But neither of those things is getting changed as far as I can tell. They just keep trying to re-arrange the deck chairs on the Titanic in a more "understandable" way.

Kenshi is also built on that game engine I think. It's also pretty mod-friendly judging by the number of mods that the game has, but I don't much about game development so I guess it also depends on how open the dev is to mods being implemented into their game and the support they give to the modders.
