Kardwill: A shame, too. If GOG had managed to expand into "Good Old Movies" (like old swashbuckler or martial arts movies, or westerns), I would be all over that part of the store.
ZFR: No. I think GOG introduced movies because of the potential of expanding into MaGOG (Movies and Good Old Games). Note that for this to work the movies can neither be good nor old.
Hence they'll always reject any movies except for those indie ones. Subconciously they know that if they take the good old ones, all they'd be able to change to is something like GOGaM, which is nowhere near as cool.
The movies could be old and hated though, in which case it'd become an expression as in "Oh, MaGOG, there you go again, adding stuff no one asked for..."
