I tried using it as a launcher with Tyranny but it seemed to cause instability. Loading the game from the 64bit exe in the folder worked much better. That's turned me off from the client for a while yet I think.

It's nice that GOG updates the normal installation files, making Galaxy truly optional as far as I know.

Not having to manually look for and download owned game every time is nice, I'd say.

Even if you now think I‘m one of them, I cannot let that stand as it is.

And spitting out your unproven lies is much better, I think. Where are your number? How many use Galaxy? If 5 people use Galaxy and then 10, you have an increase of 100%, so telling „usage is growing by 100%“ doesen‘t say much.

As I just posted above:

Well only GOG has the numbers... so it hard to say. They did release a graph showing that Galaxy usage increased a lot in 2017, but it didn't have overall numbers. We do know that, according to GOG, nearly 700K people played Witcher 3 via Galaxy... so even if a fraction of those users became casual GOG users that is a lot of people using Galaxy.

And people who bash people for voting what they feel are also pathetic. People have legitimate concerns.

No it isn't because it's just rep abusers, most likey using multiple accounts. People with legitimate concerns debate on the merit of the issue.

All these people want is for people that like what GOG is doing with Galaxy to either shut up or accept the hive mentality that exist on the forums.

I welcome open discussion and disagreement... but shadow stalking is pethetic. The rep system wasn't meant to be a tool to discourage conversation.

GWENT players are estimated to be over 200K (going by rank with 0 mmr), though no idea how many of those are playing through Galaxy. Assuming an equal distribution between PS4, XBoxOne, MS Store and GOG (even though one could say that MS Store and Xbox are one and the same), that gives us at least 50K people playing GWENT through Galaxy.
I don't think I'd put the number of users I've seen in the forum over 10K (and that is stretching it quite a bit), so I'd say that more users use Galaxy than the forums. But no, I don't have exact numbers, I just work with the data that can be found in the wild.

Ok, fine, i'll tell you what. Whenever you can verify that people are using multiple gog accounts to spam the rep, i'll believe you. Until, i don't think i trust you with numbers anymore, and i'm going to go as far as to say that it's actually likely that most people prefer not to use galaxy. Things seem a bit more logical this way.

Sorry, i need evidence of some kind. I didn't want to trust gog's numbers, but if we're going to play the snipe hunting game, i'm not going to bother giving them the benefit of the doubt when they're likely to prop up galaxy usage stats for their own purposes.

Then you ignore the source. No need to continue talking about it. GOG has the numbers, any real evidence would have to come from them.

MS Store also counts for XBoxOne players. Giving XBox a few thousand seems too little.
