Just wondering how many people are using it now and if everyone is generally happy with it. I had it installed for a short time , hoping to see all games with achievements but uninstalled it since.

I've never had it in any of my computers. And it's not likely to change

Just curious , why don't you like it ?
I hate GOG Galaxy.
Not tried it since the load testing when they handed out copies of Aliens versus Predator classic 2000 and think I might try it later again when it seems less broken. Not a current user.

Talking about broken, Steam's client is a lot more polished, also been around a lot longer, but even so I have run into a couple of bugs the last six months. I guess a client like these will always have some problems.

Got it, don't plan to uninstall it. Don't really car about achievements, but having all my games' start buttons in the same place is much better than desktop shortcuts. So, generally happy with it.
I run it. It's fine... does what it's supposed to.

I use it for the convenience. But I could easily live without it.
Been using it since the first public beta and never had any problems with it. I agree that it shouldn't ever become mandatory but personally i prefer it to install and manage games, never hogged a lot of resources for me either, using both OSX and Win versions...
Seeing how I'm on Linux, no. Also, I don't see a reason to use the client, so no.
Not using it, and not planning to either. I'm already using steam and I don't want to have to have to access games on multiple clients. But as long as it remains optional I have no problem with it.
I prefer my gameplay tracked and achievements unlocked. I'm using gog galaxy.
Never used it, never will use it. Don't want this drm client spyware on my computer. As long as this crapware is not "totally optional" anymore, I won't be buying anything here.

I rather buy from Steam or Origin, because they never promised somethign they don't care about and still post it on their mainpage.

You really believe it is spyware , that quite surprising considering gog's track record being against anything like that.
Could you elaborate on what you mean by Spyware ?

No and I have no intention of installing it. I only play single-player games and as such don't want to add needless extra bloat to my computer, all the more so when the program itself is still in a fairly buggy, beta state. I'm already annoyed that many GOG games add Galaxy dependencies when installing even if Galaxy is not installed.

Just my 2p worth :)
