I'm amazed this never got a PC port and is here on GOG.. I swear, lethal weapon influenced this game so much. Never expected to find this gem at the pawn shop for 4 dollars, Saturn.

I would love to see this getting a remake. What is your guys take on this game? I wonder how many of you actually played this back then.

Policenauts was something I always wanted to try, but after it finally got an English fan translation, I just never made the time to put it all together to play it.

This reminds me of the characters from Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, where Kojima just used the exact likeness of Mel Gibson, Tom Berenger, Sean Connery, Richard Crenna, and more:

I have not a clear memory of it, i have played it through "abandonware" some years ago along with Snatcher, that was the beast in comparison to Policenauts... That's all i remember. :( Oh, and mullet FTW!

The first Metal Gear, or the box art anyway, actually was taken directly from a Terminator still. I forget the details, but they admitted it and for whatever reason the movie producers opted not to go after them for it.

You're surprised that GOG doesn't have a Konami game that is at most regarded as a cult classic in the same vein as Snatcher?

Of which, I might add, never was officially translated?

Though this does remind me of the massive undertaking that SA Goon slowbeef put into translating the game to do a let's play of it.

I went into digging info and found out about snatcher, I never knew about it when I had a sega CD, Might have to give it a shot if I can get it for the right price.

Kojima should get back into this format of game, Would be great times for the visual novel scene.

If you can't get your paws on Snatcher, you may want to look at Read Only Memory. If you enjoy hardcore explicit content, Critical Point is an aged VN that kinda feels like a cross between Policenauts and Snatcher.

Thank you for the point out on that game, I remember a while ago I looked at it but forgot about it. Now that you mentioned that it is like these that I mentioned then it's a buy for me pretty much.
