A couple of years ago, I also moved my tower from the floor and onto my desk, for the same reasons: to better access all ports and limit dust intake. It was an easy decision to make because my desk is a mammoth Ikea extinction (same model pictured here but this is not my photo), so there is plenty of room on the surface! My desk is so huge. About 46 inches wide and 34 inches front to back. If I push my chair back, I hit the bed!
On my desktop sits my monitor and keyboard, with a photo scanner to the left and my tower to the right. Speakers sit on a shelf above the desk surface, along with my houseplants. Need to be careful when watering them, or they will rain down on my rig! Got more houseplants sitting on those swiveling panels depicted in that photo. Generous bedroom window behind my setup. The view is not the best and since my room faces indirect sunlight, I don't have to worry about the sun overheating my equipment.
Very quaint! I love it! Nice view too.
Got the exact same tower as you!

Nice!
Alas, the area I'm in in Canada is not really large enough for events like that. So I missed out on a number of the DQ IX extras that involved other players. Fun game still. In general though, I preferred the way you keep your abilities when changing classes in some of the earlier DQ renditions, like the PS1 DQ VII (Too bad it was so rare to get monster hearts in that game as the monster classes were fun).

Personally, I prefer the SFC DQ6, which uses DQ7's system, but has a larger playable cast and also has the ability to recruit monsters, which in tern can get classes just like human characters. I just wish there were a translation patch that's both complete and bug-free (the one available is neither).Alas, the area I'm in in Canada is not really large enough for events like that. I really did enjoy that one as well. At the time I was blown away with the class system and plot. Never did play too much with the monsters, even though I did collect a small number of them. Funny enough, since I played it so long ago I don't actually recall any bugs or omissions in the patch (Even though I'm sure there must have been some in a project like that). But that's nostalgia for you, I suppose. I did pick up the DS Zenthian (4,5,6) trilogy a number of years back, but have yet to sink any real time into them...

dtgreene: That gets me thinking: Could I add a USB-C port with power delivery capabilities (or at least enough power to comfortably power a Raspberry Pi 4) this way?
Sure, but they're not cheap. https://www.asrock.com/mb/spec/product.asp?Model=Thunderbolt%203%20AIC
https://www.newegg.com/gigabyte-model-gc-titan-ridge/p/17Z-0037-00007?Description=thunderbolt%203%20card&cm_re=thunderbolt_3%20card-_-17Z-0037-00007-_-Product&quicklink=true
I don't know if it'll deliver enough juice for a Pi4, you'll have to compare specs.
