dirtyharry50: Cleve never laughed at me. He just insulted me. You seem to selectively remember things as suits you in dredging this up for no legitimate reason.
jamotide: There is a legitimate reason, to make fun of you. You can't just be this wrong here and make such a huge fuss about it without being reminded about it once in a while.
Yes, he insulted you and he made alot of jokes about how gullible you are because you took the whole NSA DRM Superdemo secret literally. He probably laughed alot about you, too. Don't make me dig it up, because I will. This must have really hit you hard that you selectively chose to forget it!
Also, incredible that you still think it was right of you to harrass the people who shared the public superdemo link.
The quote I listed above where he promised the superdemo to pledges only predated all of the above, including his strange comments about the superdemo when he posted the link. Prior to that, he had explicitly indicated it was for pledges only. This was why I thought his joking about sharing the link was just Cleve being Cleve. it was not a stretch to take that as a joke given how often he says ridiculous things. The fact is, he did promise it to pledges only prior to the link ever going up. You can find that text I quoted on the first Indiegogo comments and see the context I am talking about. So there was nothing autistic about presuming he'd told the truth at the time. Of course, all became clear after this and I know well now not to believe a thing he says.
So as much as you crave an excuse to keep dumping your hate over nothing, you don't have one. I wasn't wrong but you are. What is more, the argument was originally between crosmando and myself. Neither he nor I care about this for a very long time. He didn't care what I thought about it back then. As I recall, for some odd reason it was you who was butthurt by this stuff beyond belief but I think that is just because you relish any opportunity to give someone a hard time online. I get the impression that you have issues and should seek counseling to help you understand this behavior in yourself, why you are so miserable and hopefully come to feel better in the end such that you no longer feel a need to behave in this way toward others.
At some point civil people agree to disagree jamotide. The question is, are you civil or not?
jamyskis: Fuck me sideways, is this scenario still a thing? Isn't it safe to assume that this game will never be released?
AndyBuzz: It's reasonably safe, indeed. The only sane reason to follow the whole "saga" is for the drama and laughs. Extra funny when Cleve pops up and posts a caustic reply to some detractor or adversary. :)
The guy is genuinely witty and it's a pleasure to read his ramblings. So if you leave logic at the door, you can enjoy the ride.
I would agree entirely with that at this point. At the time I pledged to the first campaign, I knew very little of Cleve's storied past. For the most part it's been a very entertaining ride since.
