What's a nice way to say, 'Your country isn't very friendly when it comes to matters of external trade?'

Especially when it comes to video games thanks to some bizarre gambling laws leading to outlandish taxation, leaving most of your video games in the black/gray market?

Unless those laws have changed recently.

The law is applied mostly to console games. On PC is treated as a software so it is different.
There was a knobhead who tried to pass a law to tax digital games and stuff. Needless to say it didn't work.

SO GOG I'M WAITING! :P
I'm in Brazil right now and i'm amazed that all electronics are more expensive than in Romania. Even with our 24% VAT. But regionally priced games are cheaper. For example i can get Oblivion Deluxe from Gamersgate for 25 reals (about 6 euros) while in Romania it's 25 euros. Maybe i should :)

Go for it!
In fact, since you are there, go to Nuuvem and pick up EVERY game that is not available to outside of Brazil!!!!
(i.e. Max Payne 3 is R$35 which is 8,5€)

Many months ago I got the FEAR bundle from nuuvem (by tricking the site, shame on me....) and I had no problem activating all 3 keys on my steam.
Buying them is the problem, activating is ok.

Ah, ok because Russian keys can't even be activated elsewhere.
