I'm really looking forward to it. It's been years since I've finished FO3's basegame, and I haven't played any Fallout since (except the first one). I tremendously enjoyed FO3, except for the rate at which I gained experience, which I felt was too fast (hopefully higher difficulties affect exp gain). Before I move onto New Vegas I would like to check out some of the DLCs, several of which look like great fun.

I see a lot of people complaining that FO3 is very buggy. I played on pc, and I don't remember a single crash (which with my poor memory means that there could've been one or two) though I do remember one or two places where I couldn't seem to meet quest conditions. If memory servers, Republic of Dave gave me some issues.

Just install a mod that reduces exp gain.

This. And then never talk to us again. There's no such thing as enough XP, you masochist.

installing the official 1.2 patch fixes most crashes

I quickly checked: higher difficulties actually increases xp gain :P So I will have to look for a mod then.

XD it's the level cap that bothers me!

Yeah, I didn't play FO3 until at least a year after release, so I imagine several major patches would've already been available.

The DLC's increase the level cap. :P
Don't play the alien DLC at too high a level though. It gets crazy hard.

Mothership Zeta? I'll try to remember that thank you.

Don't play that DLC at all, it really didn't fit in with the rest of the game, and was particularly well done anyways. The rest of FO3 though is ok. If you do the Anchorage DLC straight off then you get good power armour which kinda kills it a bit, so leave that until later. And if you really want an easy ride go get the inteligence boblehead straight away, with point in that you get maximum points per level up.

I have no idea why he said that. I played it at max level and found it way too easy. The aliens were completely fucking terrorized by me.

It might not be at max level. There is a difficulty spike there if you're at a certain level range though.

Perhaps. But I really felt bad for the little guys. Picking on the wrong planet and all that.

New Vegas Old World Blues is the best DLC I've ever played.

Antimateria: no way you got it all wrong, leliana lover! Which I also love.

omega64: I ended up with alistair by accident. >_<
Wasn't interested in having a relationship with any character and just pressed the wrong button. :P

Same thing happened in Mass Effect 2, regularly talk to everyone if they have anything new to contribute.
Suddenly someone's my lover.
Are you a girl? =) Alistair was a best friend ever for my city elf warden, morrigan was my love-witch.

In-game I'm a girl in fallout 4 (well those romances suck so it doesn't matter) also I was female shepard in mass effects, she took less ass space in ME2 also I liked the voice actor. so who did I ended with.. I played it couple times.. I had liara but it seemed that I had to be a male shepard to be with Tali. Anyway.. I don't regret anything. Except that one gay guy in ME3, it was surprisingly hard to let him down, because he was so sad. =D

Like I said, I had EVERYONE with fenshep. It's possible to catch them all. Like Pokémon.
