Zero Time Dilemma, the conclusion of the 999 trilogy, finally comes out next week. It's been an almost 4 year wait for this thing, and it's getting some really, really good reviews.

For those unfamiliar, this is a series of adventure games with a horror vibe and some absolutely crazy storylines. Virtue's Last Reward, the second chapter, has what is unquestionably the most insane (but great) conclusion I've ever seen.

For a long time, fans of the series thought that was the end, due to the developer's inability to secure funding for a sequel, but Zero Time Dilemma finally surfaced last year and we've been anxiously awaiting ever since.

The game's coming out on Steam, but it's $40, and I really don't want to drop $40 on a rental. As such, I'm really hoping GOG actually gets this game here. It's an adventure game, so it makes sense for the demographic, but it still stands out as something totally unique for the store. Probably wishful thinking, but uh... yeah, it'd be nice.

With Danganronpa 1+2 not making the cut, it's highly doubtful this one will.

It would be nice getting it here, but I doubt it. Luckily I can just play it on 3DS.

That's true that they didn't make it over yet, but there are a couple differences here:

1) Different publisher, and
2) Danganronpa is waaaaaaaaaay more anime than ZTD. Unfortunately, the 3DS version is supposed to be a mess. Apparently, in addition to looking bad, the frame rate drops to literally 2fps at times.

Who knows. Nope. Still Spike Chunsoft.

The frame rate thing might be a problem, the looking bad part not so much. I probably won't even notice. Perks of having bad eye sight.^^

Well shit, you're right. Guess I thought Aksys was handling the PC version, too. Sigh. Well, maybe someday then :(

Not particularly looking forward to buying it on Steam, but I'm not going to sit around and wait like a chump, either.
