tinyE: I used to be a huge smoker and that's what my mother said when I was diagnosed.

I said to her, "It's testicular cancer; how the fuck do you think I inhale?"
Is it scientifically proven that tobacco cannot cause cancer in another parts of the body?

Maybe not cancer but there's always peripheral artery disease.

By the way: R.I.P. Bob Marley.
I have a wolfs head ceramic pipe.

tinyE: What do you play stoned? XD I tried that once. The game was waaaaay too fast for me. I can only imagine what would have happened had I gone past the title screen.

real.geizterfahr: I loved to play Diablo 2 when I was high. But I played a Leap Attack-Whirlwind Barbarian :D All I had to do was to leap into the mob and to crush them with whirlwind attacks. Perfect when you're stoned ;)
That was my favorite class and build when I played that POS game too. 0 shouts, all dual-wielding offensive attacks into the thick of battle.

I love to game stoned. Movies stoned are even better.

drealmer7: I like to use a bong with a double filtration system (a ash-catcher percolater with water and then the bong itself), the smoke gets filtered 2 times. I also like to use a vaporizer. Health is important to me

yes, I'm a wise enlightened old-soul, now you know. You should listen to me more often!

NuffCatnip: I know that pipes and hookas aren´t the same as cigarettes and co., but as I said I became really paranoid regarding this topic. I mean really really paranoid.

Klumpen0815: Hooka/Shisha completely destroys me. I don't know why but they have a really heavy negative effect on my system, make me extremely dizzy and puky. Pipes don't have this effect on me.
I get extremely dizzy, pukey, and a massive headache if I even get a whiff of cigarette smoke. I hate going out into the world because so many people are completely inconsiderate (it's against the law here to smoke less than 20 feet from the entrance to a building, yet employees of the buildings smoke right outside and no one enforces it) and even then, just walking from the car to somewhere it is likely someone is smoking somewhere in the vicinity and I am able to smell it (btw, I have a big nose, though it suits me well and I like it because I think it is what has made me such a sensitive person in this world, and I like that. Not enough people are sensitive enough.)

I actually get that way from lots of perfumes, colognes, and shampoos that people use too.

Cigars are not meant to be inhaled.

Yeah, other people's cigarettes and most perfumes have this effect on me too and I don't like to walk around in crowded areas anyway (hard to avoid in a big city though...).
From all the dozens of pipe tobacco brands that I've tried there was exactly one that had this effect.
It was some "Sweet Cherry" that a friend gifted to me and I had to throw it away in the end because it made me sick.

a lot of incense does it to me too

I've smelled that sweet cherry tobacco too, it also affects me badly

I make a point a lot of time if someone is being inconsiderate to let them know I find them offensive. I either say something to them (you're not supposed to be smoking here), or glare at them hard and make coughing-pukey sounds at them and go "omg you fucking stink."

Once in a great while I actually have to vomit and if that happens, I try to do it in their direction/on them.

Emob78: *I also find it amusing that you can't even have a friendly chat about pipes on a message forum any more without it turning into a political fight over smoking. Internet, you sure know how to buzzkill a party.*
I find it amusing some people feel the need to remind you smoking is not good for your health, as if that would be some shocking revelation and get a smoker to suddenly quit.

Crosmando: Cancer.
A very thought provoking post, though I have to ask, what doesn't cause cancer nowadays? Apparently even the meat we are eating causes it.
avatar
Mashallow: Don't support smoking anymore. This really bad for health. And of course take persons to death.

zeogold: You signed up just to say this?
What I want to know is, apart from the tobacco companies, who supports smoking? XD I smoked for ten years (quit ten years ago and it's the best thing I ever did) but even when I was puffing away I wasn't running around supporting smoking. :P You'd never find me on the steps of Capital Hill waving a sign that read "Everyone Smoke!"

Speak for youself, you'd be surprised how many vegans and vegetarians are around here. ;)
Once I dressed up as Sherlock Holmes and I had a fake pipe. Does that count?

Leonard03: Once I dressed up as Sherlock Holmes and I had a fake pipe. Does that count?
He was a cocaine addict. It's okay if the pipe was fake so long as the powder was real.

I had a small budget... But in one of the many (like, four) Sherlock Holmes movies friends and I made in my younger days, we didn't forget to mention the cocaine :D

If it's weed smoking, come to California and you'll see who supports it.

Well I support that. I don't do it anymore but I support it.

And BTW, there is more naturally grown marijuana in the state of Missouri than any other, including California. :P
