Well, this one really crept up. Slain!, an extremely promising arcade-style 2D actioner, is coming out tomorrow. Those who have followed the game know that it boasts some fantastic aesthetics, and it looks like it has the gameplay mechanics to back it up. Hopefully, the level design is up to snuff, too. Even though the genre's been done to death, this looks like it has potential to be one of the relatively few really good ones.

The devs put out a launch trailer, which looks great: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBdRFNxMIGY

The Kickstarter mentioned that the game would be coming to GOG, so hopefully that's still the plan. It needs to be here.
Looks neat, but too flashy for me.
Too many colours exploding into even more colours.

Is it me or is there a little old school Castlevania in there? :D I mean that as a compliment and I will for sure be checking it out.
Been waiting for this one. Will defo pick it up!
Oh, GOG is getting this one? If so, I will get it. Game looks like a death metal album cover that you can play and that sits fine with me.
Not sure, looks ok, makes me clamour for super ghouls 'n ghosts.
In the other day i was talking with a friend about indie games and praising something that most of them don't do, background detail, it's really awesome to see stuff happening in the background (leafs, water, wind, etc) like it used to be in games like Castlevania and Shinobi.

Not feeling the combat though, looks a bit sluggish.
Looks ok but nothing particularly new.
Seems interesting. Which company is it from?
