Selling your Steam account.

Alternative: Installing the regular version instead of this one. :P

It won`t.
The new version is installed as a completely separate game, so different folder etc.
Your old versions should be safe :)
cool
So far the original 2011 release of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is not delisted from being sold on Steam.

Once it does I will make a wishlist in the video games section on gog.com to have it released for sale on gog.com along with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition.

I'm sick and tired of video game companies removing the classic old video games from being sold.

Also the 45,000 mods will have to be recompiled with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition to work again since it will be a 64-bit executable.

This is where gog.com will shine to offer us both the 2011 version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and the 2016 The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition.

Oh, that's good. It's what Rock★ really should have done with San Andreas

It wouldn't be an update. This would be a separate game. You'd be free to play your legendary edition as you wish.

I mean, as a non-console gamer (mostly), I don't see the point of this to me, but having legendary edition and getting this special edition doesn't phase me.

If 2K, Take-Two, and Rockstar ever sell Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas on gog.com I hope they just offer to sell both the original PC version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and the mobile phone port.

Sucks that Steam still doesn't have a feature to change versions like this.

So many old versions of video games get delisted from being sold on Steam.

It's a trend appearing on gog.com as well.

Metro 2033 Redux and Metro Last Light Redux is sold here, but no original Metrol 2033 and Metro Last Light.

The same goes for Hard Reset Redux the original 2012 version is still being sold on Steam.
