When will the greatest RPG ever made come to GOG?
low rated
I am sorry, but the greatest RPG video game ever developed is The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and then The Witcher video games and then Cyberpunk 2077, not The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Also The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will be released for sale on gog.com, when more PC gamers purchase video games from gog.com instead of Steam.

The original plan was to release it in the first week of January 2021, but then Bethesda saw the drama on GOG's forum and decided against a release.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news - thank the drama queens. ;)
i spent 20 euros so i could play it on my microwave display (legendary heatwave edition). Cool thing: depending on what you cook, you can give that to your char as a magic potion. therefore: I'm in no hurry, whatsoever a gog release in 100 years is enough for me.

You are so insane, Gothic II has been on GOG for years now. To answer your other thread title question, Skyrim is coming to GOG on Thursday, November 11, 2021 for its 10th anniversary, because by then Bethesda will have released Rage 1+2, Fallout 4, the Commander Keen games, Hunted: Demon's Forge, and Rogue Warrior and they will have nothing left to bring to GOG.
If it is not clear yet: We do not know.

I think there were plans to maybe release it quite a while ago. No clue what made them change the plan or postpone it.

If I were to guess when, I would say around the time when Elder Scrolls VI is released. Well, when will that be then? Not the foggiest, so sorry.
unlike never consider it's have DRM on steam and they try to keep it that way.
oh and greatest ever!..... yea when being massive modded or it's really piss poor game.

oh and btw you can sometimes buy legend edition for 10 Euro's i bought it years ago for that price
i don't see GOG doing that so quick consider many game titles are really expensive on this platform
which is ridiculous good example is NMS i bought it for 30 Euro's on GOG while it was 20 on steam.

now i really hate steam so i bought it on GOG but still 10 euro's wasted on principles juck.

I'm sure there are much better rpgs than Skyrim, for example:

New Vegas and 2
Morrowind
Gothic 2
KOTOR 1 and 2
The Witcher
dragon age origins
mass effect trilogy
Fable
Baldur's Gate II
Planescape: Torment

and many, many others. I believe that skyrim is not even in the top 50 best rpgs ever made
I have wondered the same thing, but The Elder Scrolls V - Skyrim is an unfinished mess. I had one entire folder with console commands about resolving the game breaking and quest breaking bugs. That was it. One day I thought to myself, why the fuck am I bothering with something Bethesda never bothered to fix. There are hundreds of games out there, so I have uninstalled that terrarium.

Did you patch the game all the way? Only thing I found really annoying in Legendary Edition was the followers getting killed like flies. But then again, they would break my stealth so meh.

It was patched all the way through, with the patches for the add-ons included. It is all about patches and fixes, and less about the gameplay for that one. I did play it for hundreds of hours, maybe over a thousand, I don't know, but after the hundreds of hours of gameplay I have encountered mission breaking bug one after the other, I had to let it go. Heck, I have somehow managed to resolve a quest that has been stuck for months, the one with Greta and going to the Temple Of The Divines. Like I said, there are hundreds of games in a better state than this one. I am done with Bethesda games released with and after Skyrim. What I will continue playing are The Elder Scrolls IV - Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Fallout - New Vegas.

Baldur's Gate is already here, though.
No way close to being the greatest (the single player campaign was and is ordinary). Is where the mods are. Got to have the most mods (and variety!!) of any rpg ever?.
Its also pretty obvious IMHO that Bethesda wants to squeeze as much $$$ out of the title before even considering bring it here (Dishonored was a pretty good seller but nowhere near as close )
