I really liked Skyrim, too. I also don't agree it's the best thing ever. Buy I really liked it. More than morrowind and oblivion combined. and I loved those games.

Now that Bethesda is Microsoft, I wonder how that will affect their releases on here. MS loves DRM.

BreOl72: The original plan was to release it in the first week of January 2021, but then Bethesda saw the drama on GOG's forum and decided against a release.

SCPM: Skyrim is coming to GOG on Thursday, November 11, 2021 for its 10th anniversary, because by then Bethesda will have released Rage 1+2, Fallout 4, the Commander Keen games, Hunted: Demon's Forge, and Rogue Warrior and they will have nothing left to bring to GOG.
When you put it like that it totally makes sense :P.

I am way ahead of you. I have not purchased a single video game from Steam since 2012. Well not sure if well ahead of you, because I do not know if you did purchase video games from Steam in 2011 or before you joined gog.com, but as it stands.

Just two more years and I will be ten years free of not purchasing video games from Steam at all.

As others before me said, no one knows for sure if and when it will be released. Maybe it's the surprise they keep in store for us before the end of the current sale? Well, i'd like to think so.

Until then, i guess you have plenty of time to get lost in Morrowind. :)

If I were Bethesda, I would release games on GOG in the following order:

- Doom 2016
- Rage 1+2
- Fallout 4 + Fallout Shelter
- Skyrim
- Doom Eternal

I think we will see here all of these games in the next three or four years.
I would be so happy then :)

Oh, it's already on GOG. More specifically, in GOG's waiting line for games to be released, it's been there for years.
The real question is when GOG will finish designing all the fanfare that is required for such a big launch, which is the actual thing that is delaying the release. It's not an easy task and there's still a ton of work to do.
