misteryo: Just watched Soul.

Not actually a Christmas movie. I was kinda expecting it to be, since it released on Disney+ on Christmas Day. Not inappropriate to the season, and kinda has a It's A Wonderful Life vibe (middle aged man re-evaluating the worth of his life with an afterlife perspective thing going on), but no Christmas angle at all.

So, off the Christmas movie list.

However, I do recommend it, especially for viewers of a certain age. (For those of you not of that age, the expression means middle-aged.)

Cheers!
That one was on my watch-list, though I was dragging my feet mistakenly thinking it's purely for kids. I'll take your word for it and watch it!

thegreyshadow: My favorite Chrismas movies are the whole Die Hard series.
There's also the non-official-die-hard-movie-by-other-name which is The Last Boy Scout.

As for TV Specials, I don't have any.

For radio shows, I like the BBC's broadcast of the 12 Lessons and Carols service at King's College, Cambridge.
Santa is a little late, but he didn't forget about you. He left a gift in your stocking.

NickZah: Thanks for giveaway and Christmas spirit!

Batman Returns is still my favorite Batman movie. Treevenge also sounds great, I'll absolutely have to watch it. Check your stocking for a late Christmas gift.

truhlik: Thanks PaterAlf and Skimmie for keeping the tradition alive. I'm in.

As for traditional movies or TV shows.
From czech movies my favorite is Pelíšky. Though it's not primarily about Christmas, that movie begins in this period.
Thank you for recommending a movie from your country. Haven't had the chance to watch it by now, but I'll look if it is available over here (seems there is a German version and the title is Kuschelnester).

Santa is late, but he left you a gift.

I normally go with my younger sister to the Christmas Metal Meeting in my hometown every year. Obviously it doesn't take place this year. So thank you for posting Christmas metal songs.

Santa left you a gift in you stocking.

And with these last gifts Santa PaterAlf says goodbye for this year and returns to Christmas Island.

Thank you very much. :)
One of my favorite Christmas time movies is Serendipity.

It is a romantic comedy, the sweet kind (not the silly). It might not be the most spectacular of its kind, but everytime I watch it I just don't think and let it... flow - it always feels good in the end :)

Not to mention I am a huge fan of John Cusack, so in combination with Kate Beckinsale it is a no-brainer!
Goodbye santa!
Thank you Santa! Goodbye for this year!
Goodbye Santa!
Thank you everyone for your amusic posts, recommendations and humor. Thank you skimmie and PaterAlf for hosting and for giving away presents (I spent 18+ hours on mine)!

As we're approaching to 2021, I'd like to say: good riddance, 2020, and happy new year!

Orkhepaj: And for TV specials it has to be the Star Wars Holiday special, it is so bad you can't stop watching it, especially as a classic SW fan.

Oh, and the best part of Christmas other than family is lots of Tea with cookies :P
Hmmm, Star Wars with tea and biscuits. Santa thinks he'll be doing that when he gets home.

Check your stocking.

Johnny_GT: Just remembered that Friday After Next was also a christmas movie.

The "Santa Claus chase" was hilarious!
Santa didn't know that movie! Thanks for the recommendation.

Check your stocking.
And with that, I, too, will return to the North Pole.

Enjoy the rest of your holidays everyone, I hope you will all have a marvellous 2021 and, if all goes well, till next year!
