AB2012: Favourite Movie : I loved the animated ones more than the Live Action stuff. The Snowman and The Nightmare Before Christmas were always part of Christmas TV growing up.
Santa has asked his Snowman friend to leave a nice little present for you. Check your stocking :)

zaMNal: Dear Santas PaterAlf and skimmie, thank you for the Christmas giveaway.

As with most of us, my favorite Christmas movie is Home Alone. Additionally, I really like following movies as well:
- The Holiday

Thank you again for the giveaway and happy holiday season!
Santa is looking forward to a holiday, too. Check your stocking!

Wow, thank you very much skimmie / PaterAlf! I forgot to mention but there was a sequel The Snowman And The SnowDog that came out exactly 30 years later but with the same pencil-drawn animation style. Thank you again!

BranjoHello: Since I've seen few people recommending Tokyo Godfathers, I've decided to add that one as well to my Christmas watchlist this year. Haven't watch an anime in a long time and really feel like remedying that.

That reminded me of an ABSOLUTELY AWESOME animation that is perfect for Christmas (even though I watched it "off season").
People, do watch Klaus, you're gonna love it!
Just watched it with the family. Wonderful! Instant classic.
Woke up to find my stocking filled with a lovely game from Santa.
Thank you skimmie and PaterAlf :D

TheBigCore: Satoshi Kon's movies are truly something else, especially Paprika. I'm convinced that for most of his life, he must have inhabited a parallel universe. Who else could make films as trippy as that?
speaking of Paprika. I found Kon's movie more enjoyable than the Tsutsui's book. not that the novel is bad, just the anime was even greater, IMHO.

XzAr_79: About TV: I usually rewatch two Doctor Who Christmas Specials: The runaway Bride (Tennant + Tate = best Doctor / Companion) and A Christmas Carol: I really like both of them but if I have to choose between them, I'd pick the first one. I rewatch also some Christmas episodes from Futurama (Xmas Story, A Tale Of Two Santas, The Futurama Holiday Spectacular) and Frasier (I really don't remember each one of them).
Santa is a huuuuge Doctor Who fan and can't wait to see what the next Doctor Who holiday special will bring. In the meantime, he left something in your stocking to pass the time!
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation aired on tv tonight and I remembered it being mentioned a couple of times in this forum, so I decided to watch it. LOVED IT!! I can't believe I've never seen this 80's gem starring Chevy Chase! Sense of humour was unapologetic and right up my alley. Aunt Bethany's unexpected recital of the pledge of allegiance had me in stitches! The movie's a charming caricature of the holidays, with an awkward cast of wacky in-laws, a rampant squirrel and everything in between. It has a strong chance of becoming my favorite Christmas movie too. :P Great discovery this was! :)

Not "Christmassy", but I just felt like treating your souls with something I consider to be the best piece of movie music ever. Feeling every note with my being. Part of my favorite movie as well. :)

Crisco1492: I've always been a fan of the 1960s Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer claymation special. Even when I was living in Indonesia, I tried to make sure my son saw it. He didn't like the Bumble, though!

Also, Jingle All the Way is fun one. At first, it was a guilty pleasure. Then, as I became a parent, and as I saw kids get enthralled with the latest fads, I realized just how true-to-life it was.
Santa is a big claymation fan as well. He left something in your stocking.

Speaking of Dr. Who, I laughed when I saw this:

Thank you, Santa!
Not really a favorite but I seem to remember a Star Wars movie that was somewhat Christmasy in feel. It has ewoks and I vaguely remember a stone necklace that points in the direction of something important. Maybe I'm just mixing things up. I couldn't remember any major details in the movie but I do remember watching it during Christmas with my family. It was basically movie night with my cousins and other relatives.

Maybe the Star Wars Holiday Special?

It was partly made out of material that wasn't used for the original movie mixed with cartoon segments and strange musical numbers. It's pretty bad. But because of it it became kind of a cult movie. It also introduced Boba Fett (as a cartoon character).
